Hey i asked another person that owns one and he said this is this true....(Amir Bello That's really the only problem is belts. And the only way to fix it is with clutches or clutch kit. The stock one you could probably get 1k-2k out of a belt on mostly trail riding, if your hitting the skeg and mud though your belt won't last long without clutches and a maverick belt. Besides that the machine is great, but don't let me stop you from buying what ever you want. Totally your decision)
Plz bro just a few moment's of your time so i can make uo my mind if i ise high and low when needed will the belt last me more then 3k and wouldn't the put aupgraded clutch for a factory ready machine how many times have u changed your belt
Hey there plz i need some serious help. I am planing on buying a 2017 xmr 1000 cuz of how mean it looks butbim scared its not going to be as durability as the yamaha grizz 700 they are tough and never had a problem with the belt or dosnet burn belts either.I don't plan on using the xmr in mud just trials rocks steep hills and in deep snow is that ok dont want the xtp. also if i drive like that with the 30" wheels on it is it gunna cause me any problems with cv joints or anything plz im concerned mostly if its durable for long term use
I had my xmr 1000 for 3 years and used it 365 hours without any problem....Just change the steering rods to heavy duty and you wont have any problem... i used mine to every thinkable type of driving and terrain, the 30" silverbacks is great for most but not on tarmac though, they get abit slippery in high speed...
Hey bro I just ordered the rjwc dual stacked mud edition same bike but 2017 i have i lob3the sound of yours will mine sound like that..like that rattle u have. And got the rjwc tuner with it is that what u have also
+Amir Bello are you pleased with your rjwc, did it sound like you expected? I could have made a video on how i made my silentcores, but now its to late...ha ha
MrPatost i am yes. I like the sound alot. without the cores the sound is better but a bit loud. I have noticed my atv using up more gas tho Why. I have the rjwc tuner installed...your sound is a bit better only if ubad made a video or send me a vid on how to.
yes i pleased with it..works like it supposed to do..The more resistans the wheels have, the more rpm is needed for it to engage, ive had different type of front differntial types and i like The visco best...
dont think they changed the heat issues... but thats solved with an aftermarket exhaust...i heard that the airfilter box melt not the seat... but i had no problem with that on mine..
I just want durability like the yamaha i dont want to buy the xmr and regret it. I live in lebanon middle east and it costs her 22k no joke u. is it honestly a good machine im gunna baby it tbh no mud nor water just trial's and rocks etc. and u sure the belts lasts and i hear things pop up on the dash lights and they dont go away till u take it to the dealer.ps srry to bother u i just need help to make up my mind
+Amir Bello no problem with the belt, its the same belt as on The maverick on The xmr 1000 so its stronger...The visco lok isnt so good for xtreme rockcrawling though.. you can see that on my other videos where i try that out

That makes no sense. Unless your talking about a 2 up can am. Those bike are harder to roll over when driving stright up a hill. Other then that. The bikes have the same wheel base. If anything, can ams weight will make it harder to rock climb. Common sense i thought.
WOO HOO !! That looked like a blast !! I love snow rid'in !! YEAH BUDDY !!
Cool vid. Just got the xmr850.. hoping it likes the NY snow
I never had to change the belt,it will last long if you use it in the right gear
Looks like fun riding!!!
that's my favorite type of riding
That things a monster nice ride sock riding
No i dont do alot of rock crawling. Only like rock roads and snow is it good for that is the is the visco lock like the awd polaris

If u could send me a couple pic of your cores to see how u made them that would be cool

perfectly :-)
1000cc and you're slipping even with silverbacks...must be the rider.
Maybe so...or it's the frozen snowy hill that leans more than it seem.....have you driven alot in snow with silverbacks yourself?
hi i would like to know what exhaust pipe those are. i would like the exact same sound on my bike..are they rjwc and what exact model
+Sooni Bello yes its a rjwc dual slipon....with homemade silentcores.. I think their to loud and hollow without...
which tyres do you have on it?

nice
How does that vico lok work for you. Are you happy with it?
yes i pleased with it..works like it supposed to do..The more resistans the wheels have, the more rpm is needed for it to engage, ive had different type of front differntial types and i like The visco best...
Are u running the duel rjwc exhaust?
yes...with homemade silentcores,,,i thought it was to loud and "hollow" without.
Do u know at all if the 2017 has changes to it then the 2016 model i hear the 2016 heats up alot and melts the seat

Are your out by yourself?
yes
greetings from Russia
hello from sweden..:-)
Too big, too heavy, all that drive-train clunking and clutch wine... you can tell it's a Can Am. Only good in mud.
Your so wrong..not heavyer than other machines and have the best weight/hp ratio out there and it´s DAMN good in mud!!!....ha ha ha
MrPatost ... A 500 Can am is 120 pounds heaver then a 700 grizzly.
+J Lord Who wants to drive a 500 or a single stroke 700cc machine? im talking about high perfomance machines...
@J Lord, thats why grizzlys roll so damn easy
That makes no sense. Unless your talking about a 2 up can am. Those bike are harder to roll over when driving stright up a hill. Other then that. The bikes have the same wheel base.
