It's great to see the Memphis Tigers back as a contender! They were perennial favorites winning NCA's College Championship several times during the 1980s. I think Kentucky should be very afraid because this team will be out for blood 09'! I'd like to see Ohio State rise to the top again as well!
UCA's commentary tends to favor Kentucky these days the way they did Ohio State back in the 80s. I think Ohio State won like 3 or 4 National Championships in a row in the early 80s. No squad could out tumble and jump Ohio State and their girls were the best dancers too.
Robbed? Stunts: UM did round-off two-handed rewinds while UK did round-off one-handed rewinds. Tumbling: UM had a few fulls and team back-tucks while UK had team fulls (first time ever). Baskets: UM had mostly single twists with a few doubles while UK had only doubles and triples. Pyramids: Both had swedish falls but UK did rewinds into it. If you look at it objectively, no one was even close to KY last year.
