    We pan fried these tonight and they're incredibly tender and delicious! I've got one left, so tomorrow I'm gonna fry up another one, slice it up, roll it in BBQ sauce, caramelize some onions and put it all between a toasted bun with the bacon on top of the onions. Can't wait!

    You didn’t mention how high for the temperature, what you seasoned it with or when, did you put the olive oil in the pan and skip that part? There were several segments I felt were missing from your video. You were personable enough and seem like a nice guy (I’m from WI too) but as far as instructional videos go, es no bueno

      @lawrenceshdow Před 2 lety +1

      You just didnt listen. He said 300 degrees in the oven.. And always cook to desired temp for what you prefer. Lots of people do pork to 160. I pull at 145.
      Time is not a good way to do it because oven temps vary; the park itself can vary and other variables effect cook time. Get a thermometer

    • @villakinworthy7807
      @villakinworthy7807  Před 2 lety

      Thank you for the information Lawrence, I should have mentioned a final cooked temperature. To be safe and not bear any responsibility for another's cooking, I recommend the safe cooking final temp of 165F for pork. It looks like you know what you like and understand how to get it done for your liking. Thank you!

    Works better cooking 4 or 6....creating a log shape...use a wooden skewer and create like a shiskabob to brown up the bacon...🤗 by rotating the bacon on the pan...

      Hello Jay, I see that I have a few comments about the time I cooked them for. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I hesitate to give a time as ovens can be different and this may not be an accurate way to accommodate. Use a temperature probe and you're done when you get to an internal temperature of 165F.

    Used slowcooker 4 hours. Still pink inside is that done? Bacon not my concern, it detaches white & full of fat, but I'm no meat chef. Jw if the inside is well cooked enough. Great video presentation verbally and in delivery. Confident lighthearted presentation from a cleanly kitchen. (Prefer cooking times) but very professional

    • @lawrenceshdow
      @lawrenceshdow Před 2 lety +2

      Cook meat to temp not by time... Time varies based on all sorts of variables including how far off the oven temp is; the amount of fat in the piece of meat, how the meat is tenderized, and a bunch of other factors. Going by times is the best way to disappoint.

    • @villakinworthy7807
      @villakinworthy7807  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello Ren, Lawrence is correct. I don't give a time as it will place some responsibility on myself for how your particular oven operates. The safe bet is to use a temperature probe. If you don't know the temperature you like, I recommend 165F to be safe.
