I just came to see the video in 4K but it hit me deeply in the feels. So nostalgic, like the need to go back to a place where you were happy but that it doesn't exist anymore.
Every Coldplay song I listened to from the 2000’s does that to me. I wish I could go back and correct a few ‘errors in judgment’ I made.

I remember hearing this song as a kid on my father’s car playlist. I knew it was a Coldplay song, but for the longest time I wondered which one it was. Then, I went to college and stopped listening to this kind of music for a few years. Now, being 21, and talking to friends about bands like Coldplay, I remembered this song and went through their early albums until I found this song and its name: In My Place. That happened a few months ago, and now it’s my favorite Coldplay song.
I went on that same little adventure too made me have so much more appreciation for them.
Not hits harder than finding that one song you’ve been unable to shake from your mind 😊

Their older music has such a strong sensation. Yellow, Sparks, In My Place, and the Scientist always get me emotional (missing family members since the energy of these songs are sad) although these songs get me down, I get the chills and find all of them beautiful

I remember my dad played this all the time in the car when i was a kid. Especially one memory of when the autumn leaves where falling outside and he was leaving me at daycare. From the moment I heard this song on the radio to this day, I always come back to this song, this song for me is my safe space, my safe haven, it is like a warm hug, it helps me ground my self, it soothes my soul after feeling like a hole is inside my chest, and it fills it with warmth. I love this band so much, they mean so much to me, their music helped me so much, I never really understood what people meant when they say music saved them but when I heard coldplay I finally understood.
