THIS IS SO DETAILED AND BEAUTIFULLY DONE AND PRODUCED! WATCHED THIS SEVERAL TIMES ALREADY LOL! Just so clear, straight forward and everything else! THANK YOU!!!
a video that is worth a million views!!! thanks for sharing. i hope can do solo traveling in Europe like u diid
Thanks so much Mercia :))
Thanks a bunch! On a similar journey, and you documenting this, is just awesome! Danke!
My notes up is fulling up thx to all the tips and hostels.
Great video and very useful tips man!
What an amazing video. Insane editing, I can tell the time you put into this. Viele danke freund!
I was lucky enough to have spent approximately 4 years backpacking around the world, this brought back soo many memories. The number of different people you come across, in all walks of life. I have also used an Amtrak Pass and Indrail Pass. Rail travel definitely shows you the world. See the world to broaden your horizons.
When I heard you were from Stuttgart I was so confused because your English is so perfect!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Nice video.
Thank you for this video! Im planning to do something similar in June/July. The chapter on loneliness was helpful as thats what i am most afraid of battling with the solo travel, your honesty has made it far easier to have realistic expectations which is super important. Cheers!
Thanks so much Callum! You will have an amazing time
Interrail und dann noch ein the blaze Konzert, bin übelst neidisch gerade haha
Ugh, prices are so much higher now. Love this video though, very excited to do something like this myself :)
Istanbul seems awsome.
I once arrive Seoul at 3 am , without WIFI, couldn't get into my hostel, and no one speaking English.
An old man who works in the convenience store tried to help us in Korean, somehow we knew he is trying to locate the nearest jjimjilbang (24 hours Korean sauna.)
After we got lost several times, we found that jjimjilbang by following some guys that looks a little bit drunk.
(And that's the moment I think I should learn Korean.)
Love that! It's those random encounters when you have no idea what's happening that make traveling so much fun
I loved this video I’m heading to Europe this summer and I’m so excited
Also haha I’m your 1000th subscriber :)
Yayyy thank you mari!! I'm sure your trip will be amazing!
On the ferry Italy to Greece back in 1985 no charge but sleep on floor on top of the ship. Still the same yours truly evans w Robinson
You happened to have a few places on my list I always wanted to visit (specifically in Scandanavia) so this video has and the others have helped massively. Looking forward to when I can leave these hallowed isles again.
amazing thanks for your comment! which isles do you get to call home?
@@drunkonlife. Isles of Scilly, just off the coast of England!
@@battenburg6089 whoo that's so cool! Theres so many places in England I still wanna see.. I'm prob gonna drive past there in 2 weeks, taking the ferry from Ireland to France
@@drunkonlife. Make the most of it while the weather is moderate, it's only going to get windier and wetter!
this video was the perfect format!! so glad to see you had fun and i love your cinematography 🤍
as someone who lives in london i’m so glad you went around in the uk!! bath is definitely one of my favourite places here too
not much is great about glasgow hahah i’m not surprised, edinburgh is better!
Thanks so much 🤍
i'm studying in dublin soon after interrailing europe too!! hahah
Nice
Thank you for such a detailed video! How were the ferries within the UK? I get seasick very easily and am considering flying or taking the ferry while interrailing this summer 😅
The ferry from Liverpool to Belfast is pretty good actually.. only takes a few hours and the port is not too far from the centre so I would definitely recommend.. Thank you for watching! :)
What camera did you use for capturing these beautiful places? the vintage video feels is awesome how did you achieve that?
thanks man! I used the sony a6300 and tried to stick with the same colour grading :)
The best
What is that piano song from the start when ur talking about Paris ?
Hiya, this is a great video! I’m planning on going interrailing around march 2023 for 2 months but I’m struggling with what routes to take. Did you plan a route before or did you just kind wing it?? :)
Thanks Dylan! I had a very vague idea of which countries and places I wanted to visits but I didn't really plan anything before, I mostly just book my hostels one or two nights before and didn't have any major problems :)
@@drunkonlife. ahhhhh okay sounds good! Thank you man ❤️
Thank you so much for the information! Very nice work. However, what was the work you did in France called? Roofing? Woofing? I’ve tried to look it up, but I can’t find anything about it.. Nevertheless, Thanks for this!🌸
Thank you so much! It’s called WWOOFING :)
Why didn’t you do from thesaloniki to Istanbul directly by train ?
Hey! Great video, really enjoyed it. How much did you spend for the whole trip?
thanks mate I did a full video on that:

@@drunkonlife. thanks, I'll look into that :)
What interrail pass did you get? I only have 7 days for a month
where did you sleep in Kiruna? I can't really find hostels there
When you had to get a bus, did you have to pay for it? Or was it part of the interrail ticket? Great Video btw!
Thank you! Certain busses are included in the ticket, it will tell you in the app and website
What part of Australia r u from? I'm SEQ :) love ya channel btw
Thanks mate! Sydney :))
Is busses included in the interrail-pass? Fx your bus-trip from Sofia to Budapest?
A few bus routes are which you can check on the website but for most of them you’ll have to pay it separately
Okay thankyou. How about the domestic bus/trains like metro ect. Are Those included in the pass?
Hey, Ben . I'll be in Europe and I want to be sure and you look like the one who can give me the answer. Can I just show the barcode train ticket from my phone in Europe? Or Is it necessary to have it on paper printed?
Are you asking about a digital interrail ticket or just a normal digital train ticket? For normal train tickets most people just use their phone but for the actual interrail ticket I think it's still a physical copy (although they might have gone digital in the last few years)
@drunkonlife. I'll have the eurail/interrail on my phone so my question is can I just show the barcode ticket and they will scan it? or they will not accept it and they need it on paper? And sometimes I'll buy tickets online from apps like trainline so can I just show the barcode from my email or I need to print it in paper?
@@firstneverfollows9988 i think you should be fine with the phone ticket but it certainly won’t harm to print it out
does the interrail pass cover the costs of the trains and buses in greece and bulgaria?
For certain busses yes :) im sure you can check on the website
@@drunkonlife. to which station at the border did you drive?
