I am a Liverpool fan, but I am genuinely hoping that MU will start doing better and that is solely so that I can see this man happy. They have been so shit and he's been approaching every game with the same energy and hopefulness. For the past couple of seasons it has been entertaining to see him get frustrated with each loss, but I feel like he deserves a break and his team should finally do better so he can enjoy sitting down to watch a game.
I know all teams can't always be playing their best, Liverpool is shit too no matter where they are on the table at the moment. Each game I watch them play is full of mistakes. The only reason they are winning the games they are winning, is that they manage to find a way to score a goal instead of making yet another mistake. Irrelevant of their position, I expect loads more of LFC and with their history and fan base behind them I equally expect more from MU. I remember the games where both teams were great and one time MU won, another time LFC did. 5 and 7 to null, however satisfying, is a bullshit score for MU even from an amazingly well performing LFC.
So Mark, I look forward to the return of your club to somewhere close to its former glory. As long as they don't beat LFC all the time :)
