On that granite metallic gray , the bike is beautiful!
When you put gas at the station use the trip one and put it to zero, count 200 kms and it’s about time to fill the tank up again. That’s how a I manage the absence of a fuel gauge! ✌️✌️

Certainly is a nice colour! I think you’re right there, probably the best way to do it!

Just purchased the same Scrambler several weeks ago. I agree the way the seat side edges turn abruptly down, more squared than curved, wears on the inside of your legs.

I've watched a lot of reviews of this bike as I'm seriously consideting buying one, and your review is as good or better than the others. No nonsense, you don't ramble on and on, and the video ans sound quality are both fantastic. Great work. Oh, and nice job not freaking out on the dude at the end who about pulled out in front of you.

I have the Metzler 50/50 tires. It is ok to take on packed dirt, fine rock crumble and a bit thin sand. No problem at all.

Wobble is due to Boxer engine. one of the cylinders is slightly more forward than the other.

I keep finding I want to shift up again in 6th gear. And that is because the RPM/Torque profile vs Speed is different from the R1250 R and R1250 GS.

Bike gets about 45 mpg. 4.5 gal tank. 0.9 gal reserve. So when light comes on you have about 35-40 miles.

Uhh I think you’re forgetting about the abundance of competition such as the Ducati scrambler, Triumph scrambler, and the Indian FTR Rally.

Nice review in my local area! How did you find the wind blast on the Scrambler...? Cheers Steve

I’m quite used to wind blast, it’s got zero protection against it so you will get a fair bit of it on this bike. I didn’t find myself really going that fast on it to be honest so the wind didn’t bother me at all! I was too worried about looking as cool as possible 😎😅

Can you tell us if you like Boxer engines? 😅

the new R12 nine T has the same engine as the old R nine T. No 1300 engine in this one, otherwise it would be called R13 nine T.
