Tucker apparently got given big sum of doe to clean thru the business, which came from a robbery. The robbers got bird and Tony started spending it, robbers got out and wanted it back, when Tony didn’t turn up to the bundle meeting, he sealed his own fate, blundell mentioned he told Tate if he’s with tucker, he will get it too. 3 days later, done

Interesting connection, Mendy was Nigel Benn's manager, and obviously Tony was security for Benn. I know Nigel's cousin very well, did some work with him on and off. He quite liked Tony, used to train together. Parted company after a massive argument over gear found in the gym, think there was something else found as well... Can't recall the full story though. Anyway Ambrose and Nigel, and Tony, connections. Small world! ;)

Nipper Ellis said Tucker and Tate met in 1994 Tucker did have about 120 doorman working for him so I dare say he had plenty of muscle. Apparently he was taking a fee off dealers probably worked out well for both parties. I don`t know if Tucker got involved importing but he had a good living from the doors.

How Could anyone rate Courtney. Look this guy up from his twenties. I think he had a trustfund he came into money and money bought him into the underworld. He paid people to exsept him. Not in a million year's did them people who were names take him serious. He paid them of so he could be seen around them. They made him look good and look dangerous because he knew the man. I worked with Tony Tucker both of us were apprentice chippies on the Thames Barrier for 2-3 years. He never once said he was from Bethnal Green, I only knew him as a Stratford boy from behind the Flag/British pub. It seems that Tony got into weights and steroids in the late seventies early eighties. the last time I see Tony after the Barrier was probably 1978, which was before his life of crime began.

Whoever did it was no joke. That's for certain. Always found it interesting that Tates injuries suggested someone had a word with him before they walked around the passenger side and finished the job. That's what happens when you take liberties with dangerous people.
Tate was warned to keep away from Tucker a few nights before (the hit) but just ignored it.

1 of 2 ways it could have gone down-1, as the official story goes or 2- they were lured down there by someone they completely trusted, like a mafia hit where someone you trust leads you to be killed, or they were that far gone they lost there senses, for eg if they had been rowinng with this person to give him a motive to lead them there. I think this is not the case and the person in question was trusted by them but also knew the killers, who would have to be top of the tree as to corrupt the police. So if it was not the 2 convicted it must be from the very top using someone who had been convinced that they had to go and this person knows to be on the right side of them so has no choice or a combination of the 2. So i think with other top firms who are known to be able to corrupt police, and persons close to the tucker in particular having ties to this firm then a good prediction could be made of what happened, or it was the people convicted
