I bought them yesterday. I did a lot of YT testing viewing, and originally I was interested in the BOSE, but when I saw the at a sale for 127 dollars, and I'd seen the positive reviews online I got them.
Very good sound quality which surprised me quite a bit, as they are so small.
I have tinnitus, especially in my left ear ('cause that's where the hi-hat was), and I think I was able to detect a bit of the high end hiss you mentioned, but I don't think it will be a problem for me.
I like that Jabra updated their ear buds, which promises well for future products.
I was really interested in the Sennheisers but they are really expensive, and I don't think the price difference comes across in the quality, either in everyday user friendliness or sound quality... plus I would look like Frankenstein's monster with the Sennheisers sticking out like that. 😆

    • @TechOutAdam

@@mikaelbiilmann6826 LOL the Sennheisers kind of do have that Frankenstein look! Man that's really funny because it matches it perfectly. I was trying to think of what it reminded me of. Jabra does great for that cheaper, universal and overall happy medium for a lot of reasons. I truly love these things still despite anything else I've used or have. Thanks for the laugh and the comment! Tinnitus doesn't sound fun at all, I hope you're doing well. Does it bother you a lot?

@@TechOutAdam Thanks for the kind words. I hear/feel it more when I'm tired. Then it is more noticeable, but I have learned to try to relax as much as possible, then it isn't so bad.

Bought the 75t's in January 2020. I have used them almost on a daily basis, really given them a beating and they still work flawlessly. My wife complained alot about there being so much noice around me when she talked to me on the phone, that we thought there might be something wrong with the headphones. Then we realised that I had accidently adjusted Sidetone in the app too much. After we figured that out they worked perfect again.
I can really recommend these headphones! Now when they are even cheaper they are a real steal.

Saddest of all is that Bose are only disposable. You cannot actually have the battery changed once it reaches its recharge level.
And the parts are also not recycle from what I have found out.
how true that is, I am not quite sure, but if there is speculation, Boss will have to come up with something to beat all the competition in the future.
In their favour, their noise cancelling technology is the best if not close to.
That’s the only thing the Jabra 75 anc buds don’t do better than the Qc. Having said that, the rest make up for the slight lack of silence on the part of the Jabras.
As for price, the Jabras are much better value for money now that they market is saturated with earbuds.

Hi Adam. Very good video with clear explanations and tips.
just bought these one, trying them on as I'm writing... I hear my breathing louder than the outside noise for sure, but still hear sounds around me... (no music for now)
question for you is, if you could help me: I bought them for online teaching, don't want to wear those headsets that make you look like princess Leia, I wanted sth subtle that leaves my face clear, still has a good sound both to hear my students's pronunciation, and for them to hear me...
IMPORTANT NOTE: summer's here now, time to open windows to let the fresh air in, still wanted to avoid street noise, interfering with my class... would you say this jabra will serve this purpose well, should i go with a different model or brand?
thanks in advance for your video and tips!

In my opinion for this exact scenario I'd suggest the Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds because out of all true wireless earbuds with ANC those have the best microphones. They are just so versatile. As far as an actual headset the Aftershokz OpenComm headset is what I'd recommend because it's so sleek and the microphone will cancel out any background noise around you and your students will always hear you best with a boom mic. However, it is a bone conduction headset so to block out the background noise for you you'd have to wear earplugs lol, it's an amazing headset though. Those two are what I'd suggest for what you need if you don't want a big ol' headset looking like Princess Leia. Let me know if that helps, I can keep thinking of what may be best overall just depending on what you need.

My big gripe is that when I used them for phone calls, I need to be doing nothing and there needs to be zero going on around me. For example, if I'm getting a glass of water from the sink, invariably the person on the other phone will say something like "omg, what are you doing?". In the app is where you can adjust how much ANC and even tune the frequency in the app. If you're on a call you will hear sidetone, well you hear yourself speak, so in that case if you want ANC enabled during a call make sure that's off otherwise it cancels itself out. However, the main issue is when I received calls when I on the street, supermarket, Etc. I try to use the ANC with my own configuration, The ANC looks that is not blocking enough, or people complain about the noise that comes through and it is because I am in these environments. Thank you

@@luismedina5680 Ahh I see, I would suggest taking "sidetone" off or turning it down in your call settings on the app. That let's in quite a bit of noise so you can "hear yourself" while on a call. The 85t's, if we're strictly talking Jabra products, do much better. My favorite little bluetooth mono headset from Jabra is the Talk 45. That thing is amazing at blocking out background noise on calls but yes, it is a different product altogether. Did that help at all? Appreciate these comments.

Man, I've been using my pair for nearly 3 years now. I was afraid of TWS earbuds for the longest time. And to be honest, it's all convenience and barely any downsides with my 75t Active. They're excellent. Sound is pretty good, comfortably loud with decent bass, a tiny bit of peaking in the vocal range few and far between and barely noticeable static hum. Microphone quality is pretty good too, but sadly only indoors. Overall rock solid, not too many bells and whistles, battery life is decent, ANC is nearly useless, but passive isolation is frankly stunning, the Hear Through feature is hard to live without. Even latency is low.
You know what's the best thing about them? That they won't give you any problems. No stupid disconnections, no random unpairings, no cutting out, no LEDs going crazy, no Chinese voice telling you that something's wrong, they will do what you expect them to. Won't fall out of your ears, fitment is close to perfect (of course some people have atypical ear shapes) and comfort is great, but of course after 4-5 hours of wearing there is some fatigue, as expected. They will connect instantly every single time, two devices at once, phone and laptop at the same time. Having the Active model I often take showers with mine, guess what, no issues for all this time. The easiest recommendation for Android users. Jabra's been in the BT headset business for decades now and it shows. The newer Elite 7 Pro are supposedly even better, but I can't vouch for those personally.
The case holds up to around 3 charges, has USB-C, a wireless charging model is also available. It's very compact, fits nicely in the pocket.
Buy the 75t Active if you ever see them on sale. Cyber Monday is around the corner. Still worth it after all those years in my opinion. Listening to this video with my pair right now.

I could bear it for the first couple of years, them only stopping out in predictable situations, but in year 3 and 4 they started to become practically useless om my phone. I did, however, like their practical and simple design, and the form-fit. I dont like earbuds that creates an air-tight seal because, when active, the air pressure in ny scull changes and this is uncomfortable when you close off the ear canal. Seeng as a wireless headset is something that practically makes most use of active situations, I think this is the type og use it should be most catered too (removing the wire out of the way from movement). I decided to order JBL Endurance PEAK 2 in orange, that way I dont need to be som scared of a branch inn the forest snatching them out of my ear or dropping them in the snow during winter (happened with my airpods) and having trouble seeing them. I will bring with me wired airbuds in the backpack just so I have all uses covered. In daily use, wireless is not that much of a bonus, except probably inn the car because of the seatbelt. I think a lot of people buy them just to look good, but I guess Apple changed the standard on phones to remove the mini-jack. Its important to remind yourself that not all technology are upgrades, and the power in owning the platform is not to be ignored.

I find the 75Ts to have pretty good detail and sound quality, actually pretty incredible really for how cheap they are now. Their sound is fairly customizable, in fact I turn down the bass a bit as they are bass heavy (still surprisingly detailed though by default). I just got some MW08 Sports (go for $350) which should completely dominate them and they are pretty nice, have great spatial audio and instrument separation, but I don't know what it is, they simply sound less detailed for my ears than the Jabra (of course years of 75Ts makes me super used to their sound so I'll give it time). Maybe the MW08 are too balanced (although I love close to flat sound with perhaps some small boost in the low end in over ear headphones), that they just don't stand out when the Jabras are so "fun", but really every genre is sounding better, more detailed, more impactful, etc...
