- We had the fortune to sit down with Rishi Kapoor in 1987. It was a great opportunity to meet him and talk to him about his family, both past and future. There is a portion of the interview where he talks about his son, Ranbir Kapoor.

I love how he is speaking sudh Hindi unlike all the actors these day who either switches between Hindi and English or tries to answer in English. His English language is also flawless in other interviews when the interviewer is asking in English.I love Rishi Kapoor.

Actually english is a formal language and is more widely used today and interviews have more coverage so that's why they prefer english so nothing wrong in that tbh
I don't think it's pure Hindi, it's more like Urdu.
He has hardly spoken any 'shudh Hindi', a lot of Urdu is used.
Back then speaking fluent Hindi wasn't a big deal.

He is from the class of actors who spent time on their accent and dialect. Just see how fine and classy is his English, Urdu and Hindi accent. Saaf gau insaan. Khoobsurat adaayegi. Umda insan aur adakaar

So true. He mentioned when he was acting in Amar Akhbar Anthony he tried so hard to find the authentic clothes shoes from specialised areas etc to portray a muslim taylor. He took note of every fine detail he was mr perfectionist of his era. He doesnt copy anyone from day his 1st debut shot till now.

In '93 i bought my ist cd from Abudhabi that contains most of rishi hits, that i can't forget what an energy has filled his each songs. He has won to keep up such a good family life bcus of a lovely wife who supported him lifelong. Especially he was a kindhearted person than handsome,in real life also.May God let him "REST IN PACE. I really miss... !!!
