There's lots of these units out there from Seicane, Dasaita, and Joying, this one however is plug and play and did not need any funny business, working immediately with my Alpine stereo system in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. The head unit itself is universal but the screen and dash are not. Steering wheel controls also work out of the box. Bluetooth works, GPS works, Google Play and apps work also.

The dash trims not fitting is unfortunately a deal breaker. Thanks for a pretty good initial review and install tutorial.
Looks more like it would fit if done properly? Seems like something behind is blocking it?
I had to trim the head unit bezel to flatten it out for the dash to fit flush around the alignment clips.

@@MiloPerrotti yes I just had to shave it off with a small die grinder around the clips that stick out as you can put them together before install and see what is touching. Kind a sucks that it’s not plug and play. Great video
You are getting more watts to the speakers with any aftermarket unit aka speakers will always sound better...looks legit

Does the unit support long pressing keys? Could you also do the microphone test while driving? Enginge running and open windows would represent real life conditions :)

I want to buy the Joying head unit for my 2018 toyota highlander (SKU:JY-TO155N4GS). The highlander has its own microphone. Could I use Toyota's microphone that's located on the overhead lights assembly instead of the one supplied by Joying? Or do I have to plug in the mic supplied by Joying in order to use Bluetooth?
You would not be able to use your original microphone, you will have to use the one supplied by joying
2017 jeep Cherokee altitude - same unit, the volume slide works, but does not raise the volume on the unit. The volume is set to medium sound, but does not go up or down. Does anybody have some tips?

Joying just released the Jeep JK 2011-2018 unit with Android 10.0 and 1280x800 screen.

Did you get the audio to sound correctly? Just installed one in a JK with alpine and fade is off with both plugs (one to the front, one to the rear) Subwoofer is very quiet, and i need to turn up the bass frequency, otherwise, all speakers distort at higher levels. I appreciate your reply!
