STIHL 661 and LOGRITE Fetching arch bringing a log to the Mill

Needed to get another log onto the mill to cut up. So, I broke out the Stihl with a 36-inch bar to cut the 32-inch thick OAK log. I used my Logrite Fetching arch to retrieve the log from the wood and bring it to the Woodmizer LT40 to make 2x4 and 4x4 out of. #woodmizer #logrite #sthil

It takes time but soon you'll be an expert at determining the balance point of the log.

When in tight spots like you were you can use the cable and winch to pull the log to the arch. This technique can be seen on our Tractor arch video.

If you want to get the log higher in the arch, hook the cable into the blue bell that is attached to the arch instead of the red bell on the cable.
