I actually do believe that this was some type of performance art honestly. if you watch some recordings of his shows on youtube, the lights go on and off at random times and he asked for them to be turned up or down or his volume to be turned up or down in the middle of singing. its super chaotic, he intentionally hits his face on the mic and has his guitar out of tune. i believe it man
