Great job Vlad, I'm just curious for my own information... Why did you want to pull the corner prior to repairs since you were going to replace it? Was it to get the internal supporting structures straight as possible prior to new 1/4 panel?

Is that how the quarter is fitted and cut from factory ? Personally I would have preferred the original to have been repaired if possible rather than making those cuts
Ditto! I would be OK with some Bondo and keep the original factory panel and welds.
if you looked at it when he got the new parts the complete new quarter panel from BMW was only like a foot longer than where he made his cut I don't understand why he didn't completely replace it like BMW installed it now some quarter panels go down the whole side of the car that's crazy I would just place in part of it as well but this quarter panel didn't even go half way past the door jamb
Better check your repair procedures. BMW doesnt allow welding on panels. And you have to get the riveter tool and BMW glue. Have fun doing that job again.

the complete new quarter panel was only another foot longer from BMW why didn't you just separate it from the seam on the rocker panel and roof line ? when you told the insurance you were going to replace the complete quarter panel I'm sure they thought you were going to replace the complete panel instead of splicing in another one if the panel went down the complete side of the car like some cars do understand splicing it in is the best way to go but that panel wasn't much longer than where you cut it

You put in a guide piece below the join of the the panels.It was unpainted. I would be concerned that this could be a potential rust source? Shouldn't this have had some sort of weldable primer as well??
Heart breaking hit with only 300 miles on this gem. The one good thing is the customer came to the perfect shop. I can’t wait to see the rest of the video.

Hi guys, there is a 2018 bmw 440 grand coupe i wanted to buy from a bmw dealer but in the car fax it seems an accident from rear end , dealer says bumper and lights had replaced and no structural damage ..Do u see any risk here? How can i make sure car is in good condition? Thank u for your advices 👍
I would say take it to a mechanic or a body shop have them go through the car and see if they see anything

This car will never be the same, the idea the calls it 100% is a sham. The owner should go back to their Insurance company and demand a diminished value adjustment.
Not even remotely close to the way bmw wants it done...good luck in court if anyone ever gets hurt
