1969 Mustang BOSS 302 Restoration Project: #22. Prep and Paint Rear Spoiler and Window Louvers.

In this video I weld and then paint the window louvers, repair and paint the rear spoiler. This is the 22nd. video of a series as I restore this 1969 Boss 302 back to its original condition.

Great tips on the build. Do you use a mig welder exclusively for your repairs or do you alternate between mig and tig? Thanks for another great video.

I use MIG mostly as the one hand operation is easier and quicker for me to operate especially in hard to reach areas. My TIG is operated by both hands and 1 foot which is makes it very difficult to operate on some areas of a car. I always use my TIG on stainless,& aluminum. Curious! That rear spoiler is not metal. How did you strip the paint on it and prep it for repaint?

We sanded all the old paint off then epoxied it
