honestly I was the same way when I first watched this. I wanted one but where I live, you have to drive over an hour to find a breeder. So I didn't plan on ever getting one. Someone surrendered one to the pet shop I work at and I took her home a few days ago.
I've had two hedgehogs. Both the ones I had were so sweet. I brought them out daily and held them. I think the more you give them attention the more they like you.
KawaiiNeko are they super difficult to take care of? I want one but I'm scared I mean I'm responsible but never had one so Idk if they're difficult other than being scared

Thank you so much for posting this video Taylor! I've been really concerned about the amount of people that seem to be wanting to get pet hedgehogs/getting them just because they're cute and want to post photos and videos of them, because I worry they'll get them without taking the time to learn about the animals they're going to be responsible for. So it made me really happy today to see your video explaining about their nature and especially that being on their backs isn't nice for them! I hope a lot of people learn from your video and try to be considerate and patient with their hedgies :)
