This album is the best one of my life. It has the power and the energy have never seen in all the Van Halen's albums. 👍👍👍
I love this album, not only for the Van Halen music, but also because it reminds me of a wonderful time in my youth, when I was 18 and could drive to parties. FUCK was the permanent soundtrack in my father's car, which I borrowed to go out with cousins and friends.

Summer 1991. Great memories of "Poundcake" on MTV and playing F*** in the car stereo and home CD player. Love the album deep cuts as well -- "Pleasure Dome," "Man on a Mission," etc. Pre-ordered the set with the singles -- hope the reissue campaign continues with Van Halen. Long overdue! RIP, the one and only EVH!

Fair warning was always one of my favorites. Along with 1984.
Poundcake was one of the first songs I learned on guitar, took awhile but I was so proud of myself. This album introduced me to Van Halen and I think it's so underrated. But to me, it'll always be the best. The guitar tones are the amazing, the drums, bass, vocals....hell...everything. I still play Ernieball Axis guitars (almost the same as Ed's Signature model) to this very day.
I hope Rhino reads my post here. Something they/VH/etc should really consider is this: re-release all the Hagar-Era albums....but release them as separate multitracks so all the fans can really hear the instrument/vocal tracks separately, I believe that could let everyone fully appreciate the music in a new light, never heard before.
I do a CZcams show called "Exclusively Van Halen" and talked about this last week. Looking forward to the release! I bought this album the day is came out in June of 91 but I also had heard most of it on the radio a few days before when Van Halen had a LIVE party on the radio playing the album and talking between tracks.
Wore that album out when I got the cd,had just bought a new car with a cd player in it, I can't remember how long that cd stayed in that player, but it was a really long time.

Love this album! To be honest, probably my favorite Van Halen tour! I remember gettto the arena early and while waiting outside, we heard them sound checking “Right Now.” Thrilled this is coming out by itself, been waiting seems like FOREVER!🙏🏻🎧
