The Constantinople-Istanbul name swap is actually a kinda funny story. It was Constantinople for almost its entire existence, even after the Muslims captured it. Up until the Ottoman empire in the late 1800s was like "Everyone calls Constantinople by this weird other name let's just make it official." That other name was "Stanboli"(or something close to that) which just meant "the city" in another language (I think it was Greek).
It wasn't some anti-christian conspiracy, it's not racist to still call it Constantinople, it was just a beaurocratic change.

Operation Delta! Bloody hell, of course that would happen ahaha
Would you consider trying 'Death Crown' ? It is a minimalistic strategy game, not really what I would call an RTS but it is pretty similar to one in that you build mines for gold and build structures to produce units and such, but that is about the extent of the similarities to a traditional RTS as you are only able to control your units by plotting their routes and conquering upgrade crystals to make your units stronger, aside from that it is a very fast paced game when it comes to mid and late game where every building placement can decide who gains control of the battle field and who wins as such. I would recommend doing the campaign first so that you understand how to play, because it can be a little confusing at times, but it is a very fun game and one I think you would enjoy playing with your friends, provided one of them doesn't rage lol. Either way, have a great day and remember 'More Dakka Solves Everything'.
