- It's been pouring rain in SoCal but we were able to hunt down Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing's Eli Tomac and Dylan Ferrandis. Enjoy the raw sounds of these two putting in the work!
Eli is so dialed. It must be an amazing feeling to always be in the zone and winning everything. The guy is a machine right now.

He was good, but Eli was pulling away a little in the session we watched.
I think the most concentration needs to be on the whoops because if you don't master the whoops it's going to be hard to win races . Those bikes turn on a dime though , incredible how fast Tomac turns direction on that bike . I don't get caught up too much in practices because most practices don't seem overly impressive to me regardless of who it is and what bike it is but when you watch the guys on race day they look 100% faster than they did in practice. The whoops at San Diego are CRAZY LONG .

I believe Eli's mind is calm "the zone" when racing? Being in great shape helps maintaining a calm mind!

When they started them Eli's bike sounded quite different than Ferns bike almost like a vacuum suction to it

@@leadhead7338 I don't know if Dylan's bike being detuned has anything to do with it but Tomac's is max power Dylan's is not.

Who else thinks all manufactures will go with smaller front fenders after this 2023 YZ , i noticed it doesnt shake or wiggle compared to the normal front fenders, but i guess thats the way it is running a PW50 fender🤣
