Great photos as always Evan! I think, for me, the 1 stop pro-mist is a little 'too much' in general (though it does look awesome at night!) but the aesthetic does have a much more stylistic effect and if that's what you're going for they look great.
If you're having fun with the pro-mist, I'd also recommend you try out the glimmer-glass which is much more subtle. I actually have a 1-stop glimmer glass filter attached to my X100V all the time now, its much more subtle than the pro-mist (I only have 1/4 pro-mist) but I've loved the photos since putting that on so much I just never take it off!

I used the full stop pro mist for about a year on almost every shot. it looks AMAZING on portraits in more balanced light. it doesnt glow as much since there is no harsh light, but it softens your subjects skin and just the image in general. i would always shoot in more balanced light and just pump the contrast back up in editing. softens skin and rolls highlights into shadows, but you still retain good contrast after editing it back in

Great video. I like the glow effect. I edit all my photos by transferring them to my iPhone and edit using Snapseed because it has great glow tool. I put a slight glow on all my pics especially wedding pics and landscapes otherwise they are too sharp. We don’t see life as sharply as todays great cameras. I shall try a glow filter. Thanks again for great channel.

Great video, per usual. I love the Tiffen pro mist filter. I generally use the 1/8 over the 1/4 as I found the 1/4 is just a little too “dramatic” for my taste. Portraits and day shots are fun, but these filters sure do awesome in low light and night street photography. Awesome captures, man. Keep up the excellent work.

I think they do a fantastic job of de-digitising photos, on my Fuji cameras with baked recipes and sharpness reduction plus 1/8 - 1/4 pro-mist it’s really possible to get the ‘film look’ - love your channel bro been following for years / insane work

I generally use the 1/8 all the time for nearly everything I shot. I have a 1/4 but it's to much for me to keep it permanently on the lens, at least when I'm not shooting just portraits

You might like the Lensbaby Velvet 56 or 85. It's really soft wide open and you can really dial it in when you stop down. Of course, it's a lot more expensive than a filter.

I wouldn't agree that the Tiffen Pro Mist is the most underrated filter, it's probably the most overused filter. The Glimmerglass is a lot more subtle if you want to take away that digital look but don't want the picture to have that 1980's dreamy effect all the time.
