- First off, thank you firefighters for making this happen! As well as thank you Andy for telling me about it being 8/12. This siren was taken down around 2011 to be repainted as the theme for their department. I believe this is the only type of banshee like this left! Also met up with Will. Thanks for watching.
** Do not bug them about sounding it off. ** - Hry
Words cannot describe how awesome this find is. It sounds healthy, it looks like the town takes good care of it, and it works perfectly!
The one word that describes this is legendary
Nice! So this is a first generation Banshee. It's missing the side skirts and it never would've had the famous "hat" motor cover that we all know and love! 🤠👍
It's missing them because it wouldn't fit inside that open cupola with them on.
@@nancylucas7815 That's true! And the cupola helps protect it from the weather. 🤠👍
So wait first Gen banshees don’t have skirts at all?
@@WhelenWPS3000 It should have the skirt on it, but not the "hat" motor cover. The newer ones had those.
Banshee 110s don't have "hats"
COOL, I see the one bolt/nut spinning lol. Also in older streetview the canopy is gone so glad to see then made a new canopy to protect the bare siren!
A dual toned 8/12! Now that's something you don't see every day.
Okay, now this is an epic gamer moment.
pog
😐
The one thing ill miss when i move to Georgia is hearing this siren throughout the day i only live about a half mile away from the firehouse
huh....never seen an active banshee without its shroud but i guess it was removed to fit it in that space
Yes, this used to be a BNCO model 110 but later got changed to an ACA banshee port siren
Like this is so fab. Glad to see it still work. Great video
This siren went off 2 days after after my bday
Great Video, Owen!
This is legendary
Where is this siren located
Awesome!
I'm a bit late, but awesome find! Does this use the same chopper as the 8/12 port Allertors?
i believe so
Same as the Allertors, p10/p15's, s10 screamer, and the howler.
@@ryfipassword That's for the 9/12 port ones. The Penetrators (excluding P-50s), Screamers, and Howlers never came in 8/12 port.
@@ryfipassword Screamers and howlers use a smaller rotor and stator
Could this Rotor and Stator fit in a Mobil Directo?
Thats so cool! Super rare!
This is very epic.
Very cool! I'm actually heading to Maryland Lines 3V8-H on Saturday may 22nd maybe. And I'm guessing in 2017 you went there before on Saturday so that's is gonna be fun to film
That 3V8-H isn’t working anymore and hasn’t for around a year.
I dont believe you. They would of fixed it around a year.
@@controllertehsparten940 They didn’t fix it. Only thing that tests in Baltimore county is pikesville. You probably won’t even go anyway because you always say your going so many places then never do
@@controllertehsparten940 My friend literally was right next to it when they got a fire call and that was like a few months ago.
It's epic!
That green box on that siren, is that a solenoid damper for the "Pulse" tone?
7 months later but I think so
VERY RARE AWESOME CATCH!!
Nice!
Someone needs to see if they can set this thing off in pulse!
Is there footage of it doing pulse
Coded banshee?
Y E S
Where is the housing
Re-upload moment
Is that coded? Or is that just an electrical box on the side of it?
Its a 110-C, and C means Coded
@@doohickey-enjoyer Thanks!
@@tatjanaschreckengost9411 No problem!
Holy jesus
I think that’s a cyclone
I wonder if there’s a 10/12 out there somewhere.
There was but not anymore
@@Whyyoutubewhy.. actually 1 exist today as of 2023
you should go back and see if you could request a fire signal?
Never seen him like that :D
Because the hat and skirt are missing
What happened to his fedora and it's skirt
There's another in Wisconsin.
That would be a 115-C. Not a 110-C.
@@sweetteasirens4604 ok
@SirenTube Lol we know this ones 8/12 and that hudson is 9/12
There is a 10/12 one tho
Baby cyclone
Hahahaha yes!!!!
reverse wired
@SirenTube No actually, this is not reverse wired at all.
@SirenTube Motor's up top so with the way it's configured, the rotor is spinning counterclockwise.
@@BusMaster99don't even bother with him he's a kiddie that will never learn and spreads misinformation
Does this siren do pulse?
Yes it does. This is a coded banshee.
@@trainsandsirensofilinmiwi2080 Ok, Thank you.
allertor 125 8/12 fhow bro want brou perfect;y
Banshee missing hat and skirt it look like a hornless sth10
It does not and it is a 110 not a 115 and the skirts were removed so that they could put the protective housing over the whole siren because the skirts wouldn't fit under the housing.
You copying my chopper, banshee 110.
Banshee 110 came before you...
@@rainyrec fine, but came in 9/12 port
@@thorguard7090 The P-50 uses the Cyclone 120's chopper, motor, stator, and intake.
Fine
