30 Minute Spotlight on Ontario's Caregivers with OCO CEO Amy Coupal

This year is the fifth anniversary of the Ontario Caregiver Organization’s (OCO) Spotlight Report on caregivers.
In this webinar for OHTs, OCO’s CEO Amy Coupal shared a rapid five-year retrospective of the shifting caregiver landscape in Ontario. How have factors such as COVID-19, our aging population, the health human resource crisis, and the economic downturn influenced the caregiving experience over the last five years?
Caregivers are taking on more responsibilities and investing more time in their caregiving role. Caregivers are struggling, and their well-being impacts both patient and system outcomes. As OHTs continues to improve patient care and delivery, this session will show how caregivers are coping, where they most need support, and how OHTs can leverage caregiver-focused strategies that align with their priorities.
