Hi Jodi so many nice brushes out there . I have the bk beauty brushes and I love them also few Sephora it cosmetics . I must say I do like those thick wooden handles I want to get the big brush it looks really good. So much out there and although I love what I have I’m always tempted . I know what you mean! I have brushes that work just fine but when I see a new shaped one I think I must have it! (good thing they are under $10.00!) LOL I do love the thicker handle brushes for the face though. I hope you're having a great week!

Great video 👍👍 makeup brushes can definitely not be in a budget at all they can be very very pricey and it is hard to find detailed small blending and crease brushes especially for really hooded eyes or smaller eyes that really want to make that differentiate from the colors on their eyes...im sending out love to everyone 💙💛❤💚💜

Thank you so much for this video and your honesty. I am so tired of influencers only promoting the BK Beauty brushes. They are way too expensive for so many of us and I’m so pleased with the options you chose to share. I do believe that face shapes and skin type determine what brushes work well also. I love my Rare beauty concealer brush, it’s perfect for my under eye area. I will definitely be checking on the brushes with the larger bamboo handles and the Angie Hot and Flashy blush brush one of these days soon.
Currently I’m on the hunt for the perfect pencil brush for my under eye area, I know so many love the rephr pencil brush but I’m worried the real hair will cause an allergic reaction as many real brushes have…. That is the main reason I use synthetic brushes, real hair brushes often break my face out. 😢
Hi Diane, you are very welcome. The BK Brushes are nice and I agree with you, they are a more expensive option. I really like the BS Mall bamboo handled brushes. And you can't beat the price! Sigma has a really nice pencil brush and so does MAC. Might be a couple options for you!

Thank you, I have a selection of Sigma brushes and I really love them. I have the pencil brush but it doesn’t come to as much as a point as I like. I like my pencil brush to come to a nice fine point. I will try a rephr pencil brush again one day. An I do plan on purchasing a couple BK Beauty ones sometime, just not an entire set. I do not often find I always like an entire set of anything, I’m more of a this brush by so and so for this and that brush from so and so for that, the same as cosmetics really….Thank you for the suggestions.

I found a great pencil brush on Amazon. Hoping it will get me through until I decide if I am going to be brave enough to try a rephr pencil brush again one day. Real hair brushes tend to break me out.

Hey Jodi as always very informative video. I have tones of brushes🤦♀️ I really like Real Techniques and also got the concealer brush from Haus Labs really good brush. But I’d love to get the brushes by Wayne Goss but sadly they are not in my budget.
Hi Lilly, I've heard great things about that Haus Labs foundation brush. I have a few Wayne Goss brushes, (in part because I'm a huge fan of his tutorials) but I don't reach for them all at. Once I cleaned them, they bristles never felt the same, a little stiff and out of shape. Maybe they've been improved or maybe my cleanser was too strong, although that hasn't happened to any other brushes.
@JodiMannes he has just come out with some new brushes supposed to be much better. Maybe I'll pick up one or two depending on the price.
Hey Jodi! Great, informative video. I don’t have a collection of any brand but have two or three from many brands. BKBeauty, rephr, Sigma and elf, to name a few. Some I have that the writing is worn off and I don’t remember the brand.
I’ve been wanting to ask this question. Does the Cinema Secrets get the rephr brushes white? I want to purchase if it does. I love the brushes but haven’t purchased but four since I can’t get them white.

Hi Lisa! Yes, this week is Friday Face-Off week! (I love that you know that) I don't have any rephr brushes so I can't speak to if they come white with Cinema Secrets. All my brushes that are white, get white again after I use it.
Does anyone in the comments know the answer to this question?
