When I was there [Tianzifang] in late February, the lanes inside the market and the street outside were packed. It took us almost 45 minutes to book a Didi taxi but failed to leave the area, because the Didi taxi never arrived. We found out from our phone that the Didi we booked was trapped in the crazily busy traffic. We had to cancel the order and then walked a few blocks to flag down a taxi. Aaaah I can imagine how it was! We went through something similar, sometimes, in Nanjing, at the same time. I believe that because of the spring festival holiday, everything really gets more crowded. It's a beautiful holiday to travel, but it's very crowded.
