Chrysler Ignition Switch Are Bad. You Can Turn On Ignition Switch Without The Key Or You Can Pull The Key Out While Run. I Know Chrysler Are Easy To Get Stolen.
Great video, PJ however the calls complain that are coming in. cx have key but key wont turn and stuck in off (lock) position. one will need to figure a way to remove ignition lock in off position because having the key wont help obviously because ignition wont turn at all.
Great video! After removing ignition cylinder from ignition, I turned ignition to off with a screwdriver. Steering wheel is locked. Now I'm having issues getting ignition back in the on/accessory position so that I can get the cylinder back in. No amount of tinkering is advancing my ignition to the on position. Any tips?

In my case I have a local locksmith that I take my locks to who rekeys very quickly for a nominal price. So my question I suppose is for those more remote and that resource not easily available. Awesome video, PJ! I haven't heard of this problem on the Ram Promaster. I am wondering what actually caused the tailpiece to break. From just looking at the tailpiece it looks like a cast piece with semi-sharp corners. So a big enough fillet, the tailpiece can break at the sharp corner. Maybe it is a casting problem. #LockBoss

Another tip, you may have to reach in with a flat blades screwdriver and rotate the ignition switch/ lock housing to the accessory position. If you don’t the new ignition lock cylinder may not go in. #lockboss

Hi PJ. Thanks for the video about this issue. Could you please do a follow-up video on rekeying the ignition wafers? I would also like to know your opinion on using new wafers for the rekey instead of the existing wafers if you don't also provide a new key duplicate. #Lockboss
@@clksupplies I saw this week's Livestream. I didn't catch that the new ignition was aftermarket. I was mostly thinking about the wear on the existing key possibly causing a mismatch with the new wafers. Those ignition cores see a lot of use in commercial vehicles.

Your going to have to take the pressure off the steering wheel while you turn it back to accessory -PJ
