Really enjoy your thorough videos on these repairs. Just bought a box of five broken controllers and these guides are a lifesaver.

    Thanks for your hard work!
Please don't take these videos down. I think you may be the only channel on CZcams that shows PS2 plastic membrane fixes.
Its been difficult finding reliable illustrated info on these fixes for some time, especially now that the AssemblerGames forums have gone down and their pictures haven't been preserved.

AssemblerGames, that was a crime against humanity, I wrote an long article about PS2 controllers and I also learned so much from them, like how to fix the PS2 consoles and all their variations, another thing I do a lot as well.

@@restartrepairs4393 that must have been disheartening. I've not yet even started exploring PS2 console repairs and variants yet - that's gonna be tough without those old forum posts 😅.
But again, thanks for doing your bit for preservation. Your worked examples really help.

@@naliboi93 I have hundreds of videos I already made, basically I am making a video for every problem for every console/controller ever made, working on DS Lite now, have about 300 to fix.

Hi. I can't thank you enough for these videos. I have a model M that has almost all buttons pressing randomly all the time, even without the conductive film. Also, none of the joysticks seem to work. Only the analog button seems to respond, but still doesn't let me use the joysticks. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? I've fixed plenty of PS3 & PS4 controllers, but PS2 ones are driving me nuts. The amount of variations are crazy, and none of the issues correspond with the common ones that you are showing in ur videos.
    Thank you again!!

I really hope you will be able to upload your new videos. Do you know why some of the videos are marked for kids? That prevents commenting.

hello, I have a problem after replacing the analog on the ps2 driver so the analog goes to the front itself and to the left and to the right when I rotate the analogs so everything is good but as soon as I disconnect the driver from the console and reconnect the driver so the same spins and goes alone as again I'll turn the analogues so everything is good I've never had such a thing happen on the ps3, ps4 driver
