The site of the Nuremberg Rallies of the 1930s. Pete and I visit the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds 46 years to the day after of the Fall of Nürnberg on April 22, 1945, Recorded on April 22, 1991.
I went to Nurnberg American High school in the early 80's and this was Soldier's Field. We held our football games there. I was on the JROTC drill team at the time. You can still see the track, the stands, and the score boards. Lots of memories. Thanks guys for filming this. It brings back memories.
I was there and was amazing...you can touch the history and in Nürnberg you can feel a really strange energy...If I can, I suggest to visit that place and the entire city
It's a strange place to visit. They are letting it disintegrate, as if they wish this place would just go away but also aware that it has great historical significance .
I was there before it was vandalized, It was still white and shined in the sunlight. My brother was in the American Army and actually marched past the reviewing stand just like the German Army did before the war. I actually knew Hitler's best friend from when he was in the Army. My mother was the nanny for the friend's brother's family in Jackson Hole, WY.
Ricardo Garcia Only reason Britain and France declared war was because he invaded Poland to get to Russia like he said was going to. He wanted Britain to be his ally or wouldn't touch Empire if Britain didn't get involved. But Germany declared war on USA because Japan was their ally
Albert Speer may have been a war criminal and a devil's advocate. But he was a geniosus too. This video is insult to his genisous. But this video has a beautiful sights. Allmoust better as I was there last time.
Go around online and read german and american stories about this place. Theyre funny as hell. IF only those nazis knew what people would do there after ww2 lol
I am from Nürnberg, well we have these buildings, now here in Nbg. is a discussion, rebuilding or destruction by the time? well we don´t know, americans seem to be fastinated by these buildings, germans are not..., we will not forget what had happened, but I think that this is over!
I hope you don't destroy it. I'm sorry that it probably makes you and the German people sick, but it can't be helped. So many people around the world, including me, are probably fascinated with this period of time for various reasons. I hope I will have the chance to visit and see it for myself.
