Linda Kyei Band// Duo - Rise (Pandemic Special)

2020 haben wir mit dem Pandemic Stuttgart Special angefangen. Wir hätten nicht gedacht, dass es eine Fortsetzung geben wird. Aber nun ist es Ende 2021 und wir blicken der Wahrheit ins Gesicht. Die derzeitige Situation gleicht einem kulturellen Lockdown und wir nutzen sie um unsere Reihe zu erweitern.
Zwar nicht mehr wie vergangenes Jahr an komplett verlassenen Plätzen, aber dafür an verschiedenen Orten in Stuttgart Indoor und Outdoor. Orte an denen wir uns sehr gerne aufhalten. Ein Besuch im Kessel lohnt sich unserer Meinung nach immer. Entdeckt mit uns unser schönes Stuttgart und seht in unserer Reihe, was es alles zu bieten hat. Den Anfang macht der Bismarkturm in Stuttgart Nord. Zu den Abendstunden ist man dort selten allein. Am Morgen jedoch eher, wie wir feststellten.

The music of the Linda Kyei Band is inspired by the vastness of the North, and finding new perspectives. Linda tells lyrically of longing, light-heartedness, endless nights, childhood dreams and the discovery of new strengths.
She takes us on an emotional journey through poppy groove tracks, opulently arranged electro-jazz and energetic dance sounds.
This production is characterised by the skilful fusion of classical instruments such as piano, violin, saxophone, flute and electronic soundscapes. On some tracks, Linda and producer Zbikbeat reveal their penchant for epic arrangements that invite extended walks from song to song.
