He has said twice Anakin killed the dearth star. I repeat TWICE. So it wasn’t a mistake. Why would I invest my time watching a program when the actors don’t know shit about the Lore.
Here's the thing. An actor doesn't need to know more than what they need to know for the next scene they're going to do. Contrary what many fans will say actors and actresses do not need to be scribes of dense lore in order to do a good job acting. All they need to do is do what the director tells them. "More fear" or "Okay now you're sad". That's it.
For example the Fallout show was amazing and the only one of the cast to even know about Fallout directly was Ella Purnell. Many of the cast had never touched the games and they nailed the vibe.
But... That said... Whoever is the producer needs to keep people's mouth shut when it comes to saying stupid crap. And, furthermore, should tell them to be honest.
"Honestly mate I haven't seen nearly enough Star Wars to comment on good and evil in that universe. Like, I've seen some stuff but not nearly enough. But the aesthetic of everything and the vibe is great."
That would have been fine. Just don't let people keep saying stuff that can be weaponized. This is Hollywood 101.

This comment section just showcases why people are so nervous to even mention Star Wars in the modern day. Yeah things can be bad, but judging something before even seeing one straight minute of it is just pure ignorance and having a sense of wanting to hate it right away. I feel bad for Charlie cuz a small little slip up when he was clearly excited and full of energy is gonna haunt him throughout this whole process.
