Everyone complaining about all the other cast members don’t realize that Smosh would’ve died had they not stuck around with Ian. Which means there would’ve not been anything left to buy back so many years later.
Nah a lot of us are just glad they’re gone now and that Anthony’s back. A lot of us grew up with the original smosh where it was just the two of them
Nobody said they’re gone though. The interview they did said they’ll be uploading a sketch every two weeks so chances are they’re probably still doing stuff with the main cast as well and uploading those on the off weeks, but guess we’ll see. 🤷🏽♂️

Frankly Smosh can survive almost anything, as their earnings aren't tied to current views, but the size and value of their back catalogue. Shayne leaving would be a massive blow for sure, but they'd still limp along until they figured out a new way to steer the ship.
Obviously the entire thing is amazing, but I think the best moment that's flying under the radar for a lot of people is the blank face of real shock when Amanda realises it's actually her mother's voice: 15:42
