I found Mackenzie Childs dinner napkins at the Goodwill store for $1.99 !! It's so much more fun to make Mac-Ch crafts than to just pay a ridiculous price for the real thing. I like their designs a lot but I just don't throw my money away.

Hey Daveda, love your haul. I did the same thing last year. Starting with Valentine's all the way to Christmas. I would order a piece of Mackenzie Child's on ShopHQ and pay by the month. There's no way I could afford it if not. I've also done like you and ordered the faux MC from Amazon and it really does all work well together. Everyone thinks all my pieces are MC and I don't tell them any different lol. Right now I have my lemons mixed in with my pieces and I think it looks beautiful, the yellow and the black and white checked. Can't wait to see how you decorate with all your beautiful pieces. I just acrylic painted a generic teapot kettle with an identical shape that I found 5 years ago at a thrift store so it would have that same black and cream courtly check pattern. It's for display decor only since I sealed the lid. I also painted the tops of some of my white ceramic canisters the same way, which I do use in my kitchen for sugar, flour, etc. I sealed them all really well. They've lasted years now with no problems.

Hi Daveda! Love your Mackenzie Childs merch! Do you have any of her butterfly wall decorations? I'm going to have to splurge and get a couple of those! They are so beautiful! Do you remember House of Lloyd? They were kind of like Home Interiors, and had parties, etc. I had three porcelain butterfly wall decorations I got from House of Lloyd over 35 years ago, but they all fell off the wall and got broken. I've been looking for replacements, and Mackenzie Childs is the only one I've found who makes them. They are much more expensive though.

I love your collection but especially the large checker cup you got from Amazon. I would like to buy one myself but I can't find it on Amazon and I think I may be spelling wrong. I just received a MacKenzie-Child's pillow for my birthday from a friend. It is pictured in my latest JOY video. I also like Mary Engelbreit things too and have a collection of items of hers that I've purchased at thrift stores and flea markets. I have a video of my cup collection.
