It's been awhile since I've been to Dollar Tree. I feel like a lot of the stuff is not worth the $1.25 anymore. Very disappointed with the price increase 😕
I would encourage you to check out your local store soon, since you said you haven't been there in a while. While I agree, some items seems smaller and maybe a few items are a little bit lower quality at a slightly bigger pricetag, but they have such a great variety of newer items now that are pretty darn cool. :) If I lived closer to my store (45 mins drive one way), I would shop there almost every day!!

Pros are that they never in all the years they were in existence they never increased their prices and they have come a long way as far as quality items. Cons, I’ve noticed some of the items I buy now have decreased their count. One example the tissues were 165 in a box then went to 140 now it’s 120 and some other items are definitely smaller quantities. Also it’s a noticeable increase as the other day I bought 52 items and before tax my total was $65.00. I’m not happy with the increase

Not true. Most items at Dollar Tree are not worth $1.25. I've been researching various items and it's rare for them to be at equal value than the same product at other stores. For instance, the dollar tree electric tape is $1.25 and a pack of two 30ft while the Walmart electric tape is in singles for $0.60 60ft. Food items are the worst with some of the food items being sold for as low as $0.50 at even big names like Shaws and Stop and Shop. Some hardware items are impressive, with screwdriver sets and stacking storage containers especially. Dollar Tree has started selling 1lb of grass seed which is a kentucky bluegrass variety not marked on the bag. Good for northern regions like Vermont or Canada but not for regions with hot humid summers.
An important thing to remember is that Family Dollar and Dollar Tree are the same company and they sell the same products, but Family Dollar can price at $1.00 and below whereas Dollar Tree makes profits by scamming people. Dollar Tree is simply not worth it anymore.

Impressed how clean and organized your Dollar tree is. Here in Oklahoma I have seen the stores go down in quality, especially in my town. Boxes everywhere and shelves not filled. Can't get a cart down the aisle for things on the floor. I know kids do trash the place but pick up once in awhile. I am not surprised at the price increase as their items are better too. I loved to get craft items there but now travel further to shop in a clean store.

I feel like the fabric blocks are good if anyone wants to learn how to sew because they even sell the needles and thread now. It’s kind of like how my mom taught me when I was a kid. Maybe make a small doll pillow and blanket. You just need some type of filler but idk if Dollar Tree will sell that yet.
They do sell stuffing! Remember that Dollar Tree sells pillows so you could just buy one of those and resew them with any fabric you like or combine them to make bigger pillows.

Your grandma used embroidery hoops. So did mine. They have metal clasps to hold the fabric though. These look like they may be fore macramé. I’m looking forward to picking up the headbands too!

That la color makeup display has some great products. I got the blushes in the tins for my teens and they are gorgeous. I'm thinking why didn't I get one for me? LOL The eye primer is so good.

For the wooden hoops at 16.33 Bargain Bethany here on YT just did a few cool tutorials with some wood ring and hula hoops but you could use these for sure!

It’s been awhile since I have been to dollar tree. Here in Texas everything is 1.25 in there. Still cheap for a lot of things. I just love to see what you find new in the stores.

I agree the apple is the best one with the lavender (purple) one being the worst. The fresh apple one smells like jolly rancher while the lavender one just smells like chemicals. They're not good soaps at all, though, because they're very painful on my skin. I have to use lotion whenever I use the Toms. No wonder they at Dollar Tree.
