If you will have a Canadian TRE in Qatar interview specially in the SIM. You will think about not to join. Life is already horrible there and if you work with Captains like this CANADIAN TRE, there is no words to explain. I am just lucky that I had him in the sim and I realized that at the end is better to stay where I am and enjoy my life during 4/5 offs plus Annual Leave next to family. Instead working for this company, with this captains for a couple of thousand euro more in the middle of the desert and air conditioning. Life is only one, live it at your best. I have the passion for aircraft why I say so because since young till now I am stuggling to be a pilot one day I did my education did my pilot license and not only just a license but scoring 100 percent for CAA paper with my own learning and also being awarded as a best student pilot and so on. Even I built own simulator back in my home until now doing aeromodeling.And the best part I could not land a job in cadet pilot itself in Singapore.And even me going to school for mpl programme I was answered that we offer you a cpl/ir programme for 150000 dollars but not the same 150000dollars for Qatar MPL programme. Alot of people even in young age got the passion to fly killed why is it so. But not for me I will try no matter what it takes......... Regards Pilot who's wing is hanging

Sven vd Nieuwenhuijzen It depends.... It's definitely worth checking out though. There's a lot of licensing that you can get if you have certain physical conditions that will allow you to fly under slightly restricted conditions.

Depends on where you work, budget-liners like EasyJet and Ryanair dont pay much more than 120k, after tax thats just 60-70k. Qatar and other gulfcarriers pay an awfull lot of money, thats mainly because most pilots need to move to Qatar. In Europe KLM, AirFrance and Lufthansa pay quite good.
