Hydraulic Filters dirty?
I watched this and kept thinking "what would Andrew Camarata do?"
Impressive work, as always. Good to see your dad getting in there helping his boys get the Cat back together.
Yuri .. I love your attitude. You are always confident and love challenges. Hats off to you , Nate , Paul and to your Dad.
"I'da just had 16 sockets." - Nate 🤣🤣🤣
Your Dad (who works like a Trojan) taught all of you work ethic, please teach that to your kids (you will have them one day Yuri !). Blessings guys and have a great week end.
Hats off to Nate and Yuri, you have really improved your cinematography and presentation. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! Will do!
From cars to MASSIVE heavy machinery and still fixing like its a piece of cake. 🍰🍰🍰🍰
Only going up 😊 just like you bro 👍
Nice work. Make sure to use loader arm stop when boom is up working on machine. I work around equipment daily things can happen fast. My buddy ended up in hospital for 2 months when ram dropped and pinned him and his head
Working on a CAT, is a great learning experience. Working with your pops... PRICELESS!!! 💯🗽🇺🇸
Happy Father's Day Dad!!! You did well training your boys. Always glad to see you in videos at the shop.
Nice to see you elbows deep into your dad's job. He has passed on so much knowledge and experience to all of his sons that you guys will never be short of a bob or two as long as you keep on working. I did an apprenticeship on plant machinery starting in 1983, worked on lots of Cat D7s and D8s and this little skid steer looks like toy with it's hydraulic drive motors compared to those horrible things I worked on. I hate working on "yellow machines"
At 10 minutes in I was like man you need a work bench. Short time later he's like, man I need a work bench! 😂
I want the Austin
i see this myself with so many guys on you tube, even them there Goonzquad boys are always working on their knees on the floor, i can't do that anymore from having done it myself for years, i ache so much now, a nice big solid built wooden bench on industrial casters so you can shuv it where you like, bash seven bails out of it - one of my mates has one in his shop, its great and is the perfect workmate, you can even dump a full engine on it working at a descent height, and no worries about damaging the surface or what your working on
@28:25 Caught you painting! 😂
This was the fastest one hour video I've ever watched, congrats guys, you rock. Hugs from Brazil!!!
Nate is the man on the C AND C machine!❤
As a family there is nothing you guys can't accomplish. Bravo.
Nice job on that Yuri and Nate and Paul. And your Pops you alway do amazing work enjoy that ,
Hey 😊
Top class job been watching you vtuned for a long time i don't think there isn't anything you boys can't fix quality work keep it up 😉👍
wow !!! that is some heavy duty work
When Yuri, Nate, Paul and Dad are on the Job they seem to be able to Conquer any Task. Great Job and Everyone Deserves a Brewski!
An amateur uses money to save time. A professional uses time to save money.
What a bonus !! More than one hour off nice heavy machine job !! And you just fixing this complicated Job with a good working Team !! So much fun to watch how this job was turning to a good ending. And as a extra bonus: so saved $ 20.000 !!!!!.Super video !!!!
If Nate had a lathe and milling machine, the sky would become the limit!
Very accurate statement
Proud of you guys, as my father always said...you just have to WANT TO bad enough and you can pull of anything. And obviously you guys have that drive.
Thanks a bunch for this great long video

Excellent description of this daunting task! Well done all!!
Badass machine! Really good work guys. Enjoyed the video
I'm very impressed with your fortitude and determination as a family and working together.
There is better ways to do that job, but non the less you got it done and save a bunch on money.
Remember these days, because they will pass very fast and before you know it you are aged seniors and wonder where all that time went. Great job !!!!!!!
You guys made my hernias' hurt like hell straining with you while putting on that track. OWWWW!
Freaking awesome work 👏 🙌 💪🏾. Good job guys.
Cracking video, thanks Nate and Yuri 👍
ýeeeaaah buddies,Ive been asking a long time for a colab between the brothers, will have to settle for half of you guys with your Dad working together for now.Your unity is a great might, keep it together guys.
Great team work by a great family. Your dad is a legend guys. Thanks for sharing your content.
Such a good family teamwork. Love it 😍
Hats off your dedication 🙏🙏🙏
Damn never seen Paul so dirty and Yuri is the man..great video!!
Great hard work and Pops is a beast. Nate a genius and Yuri is tough as nails! Joe
You gotta get you some knocker loose good stuff
You all did a beautiful job 😊
Better than a T34 Maintenance Crew! отличный Guys it now needs a great custom paint job!
Why not use the CNC to cut the holes in the rings ?
My thoughts exactly!
Probably less time on drill press and better finished product
Actually the Cnc would give better product
Great video! I just bought a used 277b with the exact same ASV undercarriage. At some point I'll have to replace the undercarriage, or at least get in there and replace some components but not for a bit as the machine I bought came with new tracks and some boggie wheels, etc replaced but just not all like what you guys did. So I'm educating myself on what I'm up against with this ASV undercarriage system. You guys did a great video so it'll help when it's my turn.
My 277 didn't come with the track tensioning ratchet or "tool" as it's referred to in the manual for the ASV undercarriage for tensioning the tracks, so I ordered one from Cat (not cheap!) for occasional track tightening adjustments. But you guys made your own with a pry bar with a couple sleeves welded onto the side on the one end that slides into the top boggie wheel. Nice pry bar idea man! And certainly not what I paid Cat for my track tensioner "tool". I almost think your pry bar idea would work better than this track tensioner "tool" I bought from Cat. So, again, great idea.
Nice work overall! I'm so jealous you have a CnC cutter! Great video!
Wow great job guys that was awesome work 👏 ✌️
That was a hell of a family fight.
great stuff guys thanks
This is the stuff of ball bag hernias
Amigos saludos desde CDMX de 🇲🇽👍 buen trabajo 🤟😎👍
Great job loved it
Great work 👏 👍
I really appreciate Yuri’s comments regarding wasting time and paint on those cat track bogies but I wouldn’t be able to resist cleaning it all off and giving it a nice coating of black Hammerite gloss 😁
Thanks for the info guys
Our pleasure!
Great teamwork, you guys.
Great job
Great job!
Thanks!
A piece of advice for you to take or leave. The outer bearings on the drive sprockets are pro an to fail so what I did was removed the outer seal on the bearings and I drilled and tapped the plate that is held on with a snap ring and installed a grease fitting in that plate and I just give it a shot of grease every couple of weeks. You have to pick the spot where there is room for the grease fitting to stick through the plate. 15 years now and no more failed bearings.
Boyz....you are the best💪💪💪
Love your guys work ethic great video keep up the great work
Another Fantastic job guys.
Orange Crushed It To The Max!
Guys you're doing very well with the videos. I really like the channel.
We're for a treat with this one 👍
tnx for the video
Yuri your awesome bro keep it the good work🎉
I've seen guys use the machine to get the tracks on. In the example of the front right track being off, you would spin to the right to use the friction to push the track on. I'm pretty sure this is frowned upon but it worked.
Nice job guys.
That type of machine and undercarriage is meant to work in soft materiel like sand. Not rough terrain or rocks. Great job on the rebuild and seeing Your dad in there.
Thanks for the info!
Youse are so talented and make a really great effort to do the job properly keep it up lads
I didn't go to school just to eat 🤣 lmfao
Nice job 👍
Thanks 👍
Great video, very helpful.. I have the same unit. About to tear into mine today.
Am I the only one who loves the sound of the impact drill
man that is pure talent. brute work, wow
AMAZING WORKMANSHIP
Great channel 😊😊😊😊😊
Great job guys 🫡
Awesome work, nice to see something a bit different too.
Glad you liked it!
wow...hard work
Can't wait to see some engenuity with those old rollers (maybe a shop crawler) 🫡
the real channel. talking between the impact gun. love it. who needs editing.
'Why does it have frame damage? '😂🤣
Couldn’t you’ve made the holes in the rings with the CNC machine?
They would not be precise enough, with the drill press and exact bit the bolts do not have any time to move around. The cnc machine does not cut as clean as a drill bit.
Cnc machine could have cut pilot hole. Finish it with drill bit
For the sake of drilling the metal in the traditional way against CNC programming I think setting up and programming the CNC machine accurately for just these two items would be more work intensive - particularly as they had the old ones as patterns.
This was a milestone video in the respect of Yuri’s dad being in front of the camera. It was good to see.🙏
@@23RD tks
Thanks for sharing. Looks like a pain in the rear. We sold our 287b because it was time to do the same thing you guys did we got quoted $10k with tracks. Wasn't worth for a $25k machine.
I realize that saving $20k is a big deal...but Paul? Paul "The Maestro" risking those Picasso hands on tractor? Oh hell no!
funny you saying that, i was beginning to think the same at one point - to be fair, this is why the guys did the other side first so they learnt what to do and maybe didn't film it, or at least didn't show it in case there was more swearing - has to be said i am always very impressed with them all, work ethics etc, they really crack on, the entire clan
Me and Yuriy did the other side pretty much by ourselves 😂
@@patchmack4469 Nate was busy and pops was in a rush 😂 I wish we would have filmed it, took half the time for some reason..
@@23RD man, that sounds so much like me, i drive somewhere new no problems at all, get home fine, go back another time and get lost, love watching the antics with you guys, the projects are epic
You have to fix Hydraulic leaks cause it’s sucking air where the leak is. It’s just need Orings and stuff to rebuild it. It’s quite simple.
Dang! Took all of you to get that thing done. Good team work but maybe call the tread guy out next time. :)
We are the tread guys now 😉
@@23RD maybe after you give the treads a sun tan next time !
You can smell em - Nate 😂😂😂
