Ya but even Ben Simmons hits in practice don't get me wrong they are not even in the same stratosphere when shooting is involved but just pointing out at the nba level even shitty shooters that are scared to shoot hit in practice

MPJ shot 44.5% from 3 the season before which is crazy. but i get where you coming from, ive seen Shaq and Steven adams hit like 8-9 3's in a row during warmups/practice its wild. I've also worked out with a few nba BENCH PLAYERS from the 80s and these fools hit 40-42 outta 50 3s with the greatest of ease. nba talent is on a different level

Tbf his handle has never been the problem specifically, he's always had good hand eye coordination, his problem is literally hand strength.
His handle is lower to the ground which shows that hopefully the surgery went well and his back isn’t as stiff
@@Soosss yeah this was his issue he had a tight fluid handle. It was almost too tight man’s was stiff as hell. I want his trainer to have that man doing aerobics Pilates or sum. He definetly need a stronger lower body too

His health history is the biggest factor. He stays healthy he’s an easy all star and nba champ contender.
We know he's talented on offense, I just hope he can play defense this year. He'll probably never be a lock down defender, but he could use his height to be a great help defender

yeah from year 1 to year 2 he nearly doubled his blocks.. his defensive IQ isnt really high. but that will come with time. could see him averaging 1 block and 1 steal. with some good deflection and rim deterrence if all go's well

He looks like a baby giraffe learning how to walk when guarding the perimeter, he was somehow the worst defender on a team with Jokic, Monte morris and Facu, that should tell you all you need to know about his defense. I also hope he became a better defender because he needs to so he doesn't get traded

if mpj can stay healthy he's literally the perfect 2 or 3rd(depending on the night) option for the nuggets, he'll never be the number one guy cause he's not an advanced passer/playmaker but man if he could improve his defense to a passable level he could be an all-time great shooter/scorer for us, similar to the role klay plays for the warriors.
He needs to improve his defense and going more at the line and not just jacking bad shots

Aaron Gordon and MPJr on the court together with Jokic does present a unique set of problems for the Defense. I hope MPJ has been working on his catch&shoot just as much as his pull up. If he can hit 38% from 3 on 5 or 6 per game he can average 20 easy. I'd expect Joker's assists to be at around 10.

MPJ is a really good player and he has shown a lot of promises although his injury profiles incredibly concerning, multiple back surgeries already+missing virtually an entire seasons with a back injury so let's hope he can stay healthy because he is the real deal. Looking at porters season last year (61 games at 31 minutes a night), nobody else has ever averaged 19ppg and 7rpg shooting 54% FG and 44%3FG.
