I'm just gonna say this. Stick with the approach of bringing someone in that can build a program / system with developing young players. Adelman of nuggets and Chris Quinn of Miami heat to me really both would be excellent options. If not look into other top tier college coaches. Sticking with that thinking was the one thing Lakers got right. Aside from that this has been a bad look.

Everything happens for a reason. It's like the girl you wanted to date when you were in your 20s and you see in her mid 30s and now she built like Rosanne Bar. I'll I care about is they get it to done and do the best you can. I'm not going to cry over a mf who don't want to be a Laker. If I really wanted the job and the idiot in the front didn't want it I'd jump all on it.

I still think Mark Jackson could be a good option. As long as he keeps his religious and rumored homophobia out of the equation. And understands that he would be coaching Christian, Muslim, atheist and Jewish players at any given time… And keep business business, he would be excellent at developing young players and commanding this team.
