    I love sharing how I meal plan and meal prep, and what I'm making for the week in my videos because it shares a realistic glance at how we plan and eat! Below you'll see recipes and my meal plan for the next few days along with a link to my blog with even more recipes to check out!
    Recipes from today's video:
    Breakfast total cost when I added up the ingredients was $2.33 for 16 waffles!
    1 carb waffle:
    -3 scoops protein (find the one I used here: amzn.to/43zfbpm
    -3 eggs
    -3 tsp baking powder
    -1/3 cup water
    Mix well, should look like real waffle batter when all combined!
    Makes 16 waffles or pancakes
    waffle PLANT BASED (no eggs / vegan but not "1 carb")
    -3 scoops plant based protein (find the one I use here: amzn.to/43zfzUQ
    -1/2 cup applesauce
    -1/2 cup coconut or almond flour
    -1/3 cup water
    -3 tsp baking powder
    Mix well, should look like real waffle batter when all combined!
    Makes 16 waffles or pancakes
    Special K bars:
    -7 cups special k cereal (or any you'd like)
    -1 cup sugar
    -1 cup corn syrup
    -1 cup peanut butter
    -1 cup chocolate chips
    -1/2 cup butterscotch chips
    *Combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup corn syrup and 1/2 cup peanut butter to a pan, stir on medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour over cereal, combine than add to a 9x13 baking dish that is sprayed with cooking spray, pat down gently
    *Combine 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup butterscotch chips to a pan, stir on medium heat until melted. Pour over cereal.
    Let set up for 4 hours before serving
    My meal plan for these 3 days:
    Breakfast:
    1 carb waffles with fruit (fruit not shown)
    Lunch:
    Salads and buddha bowls
    Dinners:
    -Soba noodles with roasted veggies and tofu
    -Orzo with veggies and roasted tofu

    I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again! WE EAT EXACTLY THE SAME! It’s wild. So every time I watch your videos I end up making more food 😆 also I agree on the internet being a place for adults to judge and tell other adults what to do. I don’t get it. People have become way to comfortable saying cruel things to each other. You won’t catch me doing that! I love you and your content so thank you for being here ❤ also I can’t wait to try the plant based waffles. Thank you for sharing that.

    Love the treat! I was full vegetarian for 12 years and then started eating some meat when I had my kids. You do you!!! Listen to your body!

    It’s so fascinating to hear how your tastes have changed during pregnancy. I’m curious to see how they change again after baby is here. I got a protein powder from TJ’s bc I’m not great at making lunch when I’m in full journal making mode lol I get in the zone and forget to eat. If I have a protein drink or shake, at least I’ll get something decent in. Hoping to make a coconut white bean soup, chickpea patties and banana bread in the next few days. I just got a shot in my hand for trigger finger and the hubs doesn’t want me chopping or anything for at least a day lol Protien powder comes in handy. So does bananas and sumo citrus lol I gotta keep it easy! I’m super curious if I’d like the waffles. I really need to get a waffle maker; haven’t had one for almost 10 years now. And I love waffles.

      It’s been a learning curve for sure! Potatoes were always my fav pre pregnancy I’ve had 2 baked potatoes since being pregnant couldn’t stand either of them 🤣🤣🤣 the food aversions over here are strong! Most people say they have 1-2 foods they couldn’t stand and I’m like mmm I feel like I have 100!

    I’m sorry that some people feel it’s their place to tell you their opinion of what you do and are surprised at certain things you do/don’t do. As adults I do find it incredibly strange. I have no idea why you’d get negative comments. I watch your videos and a bunch of others. You’re right. The internet is bloody well weird!

      It’s very strange typically I delete them as soon as they pop up, because I don’t have the energy for them but we live in such a strange world where people find it “normal” to tell others what to do, what they don’t like etc etc.

    I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your videos - simple vegetarian ingredients. I am also from Mn. and have German ancestry, so can relate to loving sauerkraut. I had it on a pizza once, and it was delish! Thanks for all of your great videos.

    Perfect timing. We finally broke down and bought a waffle maker. My husband has been buying frozen protein waffles (spendy) so this will save us $ longer term. I prep and eat similarly. Love the tips.

    I read that babies whose mother ate a lot a of fermented foods during pregnancy, may sleep better and longer. If that’s true yours is gonna be a good sleeper 🥰

      Oh well I’ll be shoveling it in see if it works! 🤣🙌🏻 I have read a lot on how it’s important to eat veggies from week 18 on so your baby likes veggies but it would be so hard if you had an aversion to them!

    I was surprised you don’t use an organic protein powder…. Also I didn’t realize you don’t need some kind of flour in the first waffle recipe, that’s cool. I love waffles. It’s good to see others eating healthy and not Dollar Tree meals.

      First- I shop at dollar tree and share a LOT of dollar tree meals. In this economy these types of comments are super cringy because most people are dealing with HUGE rising costs to feed their familes overall. Let’s try to remember to be kind and not entitled ❤️ maybe my channel isn’t for you! I don’t eat organic never have and you’d know that if you’d watch any of my videos! You’d also know I try to be kind and helpful and your comment just shows how judgmental you are kinda like I mention how the internet is in this video 🙌🏻

      Miranda I know I sent you a message once on IG saying I couldn’t believe the comments you often get and you told me you often delete the negative ones because there’s no room for it but I think you should leave them! People are so entitled they can only see themselves YOU however are showing up for us each week thinking of us by sharing amazing ideas
