My dear friend, it's lovely. I wish I was there. I would be so happy to be with my young Elvis Presley. I read it and Ive seen all the names of movies he played many roles. I love him and his way of acting. He's a brave man. ❤.
I’m a huge vinyl Collector. One of the local St. Louis area record store owners grew up around Tupelo. His Elvis collection is really cool! My family loves his gospel album!
I bought all of my Elvis albums first hand, when they were originally released in stores. An LP was around $6.00-$7.00 each, as I recall. I still have them, but listen to Elvis on Sirius Radio's Elvis Channel #75, these days.
Wow, you got some fantastic bargains! I have to take some old stuff to an antique market here one day soon, so I will check them out for Elvis records!
I love going to resale stores. It struck me that a lot of things have been donated when someone dies. I had quite a few of these albums when I was younger.
Amazing stuff. The three in shrink alone are worth hundreds of dollars. The Speedway with the sticker goes for north of $150 all the time with nice vinyl.
I just picked up four (4) original Elvis albums, and they were all in immaculate shape for $20 bucks !!! If you don’t mind me asking where is this antique place? Ha
Just because there’s a “3” at the end of the matrix number does NOT mean that it is a third pressing! That was a Hollywood pressing and pretty much all of their first pressings have 3S at the end of the number. The true way you tell a first pressing is by the LABELS! An all silver print “Fun In Acapulco” is indeed a first pressing. If it were a White Top logo RCA Victor above the dog, it would be a second pressing.

Not all of us antique store owners were like that.
