#IrelandWNT soccer captain Katie McCabe scored the publics votes to win the Athlete Of The Year, sponsored by Braeburn Coffee exclusively available at Applegreen.
2023 was a stellar year for the #Arsenal player, leading Ireland WNT to their first #fifa Women’s World Cup, scoring the Girls In Green’s first-ever goal in the competition AND Katie achieved a milestone by becoming the first Irish woman ever nominated for the FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2023.
Her dad Gary McCabe accepted the award on her behalf, sharing his pride and excitement for his daughter's achievements.
