Update on the goat story - with the latest collectable minifigure series (25), the goat is back! It has a different design but it is the same design.

LOVE your content. I've done the Lego head puzzle and it was horrible. So frustrating! If you like a hard challenge it would be good haha
That Lego head puzzle scares me! hehehehe I do want to do the other ones. They are a bit pricey here in NZ or else I would have bought them all just to collect. 💜🧩

I really enjoyed it and want to get some other puzzles in this Lego series. I'm not sure that I'm brave enough to the one with just yellow minifig heads. 💜🧩

That puzzle is so pretty, I've walked past it in the shop before thinking it would be too hard or a low quality gimick type of puzzle, but now I'll definitely get one! I was thinking as you were doing it that it would be cool stored in a glass jar on a shelf, if many of the coloured pieces could face outward, like a candy jar!
I love your idea of putting these pieces in a glass jar - is it okay if I copy it?? They are so bright and colourful. I know it's a bit pricey here in NZ but keep an eye out on sales. I paid $34 for it but maybe you can get it cheaper somewhere. It's definitely one to keep in your permanent collection. 💜🧩

As I lifelong Lego fan and a puzzler, this was the perfect video! I've been hesitant to try Lego puzzles due to concerns about quality, but your review eased my fears. I really enjoyed the GOAT story as well! I had no idea - I have quiet a few Lego animals, but no goats of course.
Wouldn't it have been a cool surprise if you did have some Lego goats?! The pieces are maybe not as thick as like Ravensburger but I found them just fine to work fine and I absolutely loved the puzzle. I want to get some of the others now. 💜🧩

They most likely can make a new mold. I do know making these molds takes a lot of money though and they take up more space than you would expect if you don't know how the tech works. It they make a new mold they'll probably have to throw out something else to make space.
And I have three of these puzzles too. I've done this one, the paint one, and the ice cream one and have yet to do the paint one. I think they're fun but I did need to get used to the pieces a bit. Also mine came in plastic bags. Resealable, but still plastic. But there wasn't any plastic wrap around the boxes which makes me happy :D
Now that I think about it, I can't see them making a small mould that just made one goat at a time - so yeah, I don't have a visual idea of how big these moulds are but probably a lot bigger than I thought. The pieces of this puzzle were definitely different but I did enjoy them very much. Are you ever going to attempt the Minifigure Face one? I won't - think it would make me go cross-eyed! 💜🧩
@@fortheloveofpuzzles I say hail no to the minifig one. that doesn't even look somewhat enjoyable to me. I am currently doing the Krypt universe glow though. That one is fun, especially when it starts glowing in the dark. But I like images of skies and starry nights and no so much of the yellow minifig heads. I also have a Pikachu puzzle consisting out of pikachu images and I don't know if that one is ever going to be completed. It's basically a Pikachu krypt (the pieces are cut in a similar way to krypt pieces and it's from Ravensburger so that tells you something about the difficulty. It's a krypt without the symmetry).

I almost picked up this puzzle the last time I was at Legoland. I'm a little scared of gradient puzzles but I wish I bought it now lol. But yea, the one with the mini figure heads looks very intimidating. It would most likely take me ages to finish lol.
I think you would love doing this jigsaw and it was the easiest gradient one I've done to date. But that mining head one is not for me either! 💜🧩
They do have digital info for the goat. One of the reasons they don't bring it back is because of laziness and on reselling markets, it's selling for $60+ . Since LEGO owns Bricklink, they get money from the sale of it.
They could have included it in some of the newer city farm sets, but didn't.
I think it is sad that they don't bring it back. Like you, I can imagine a goat in many different environments. 💜🧩
As far as I can recall my Lego Rainbow bricks jigsaw had white paper on the back. Yours didn't appear to have that? I too discovered the shadow made by the studs so that made doing the jigsaw much easier. Certainly a lot easier than the Lego Minifigure Faces one!
Mine was not a white paper backing, more of a thin cardboard backing. I can't see myself doing the Minifigure Face one...too tricky! 💜🧩
@@fortheloveofpuzzles I did do the Minfigure Faces one, I received it for Christmas 2021 from my daughter. I felt obliged to do it and it took me a week, on and off, to do it. The 'easy' bits were the faces that weren't the standard two eyes and a mouth. The hard bits were the bits of faces and the shadows between the faces. It is do-able but takes a lot of time and patience.
Great video! I really enjoyed the GOAT story, as well as the puzzle. Looking forward to the LEGO map -- I agree; it's jigsaw adjacent! And I'm curious to see what you mean about customizing it.
I did one of these LEGO puzzles a little over a year ago (minifigures collage -- not the one with just the heads) and had some issues with bent/damaged pieces, and pieces that wouldn't lay entirely flat. But I don't remember the pieces having come in a paper bag, so it's very possible that they have changed the manufacturing of the puzzles since then. I've had really great experiences with Chronicle Books's mini puzzles, including their mini LEGO puzzles as well.
Perhaps they have changed who they contract to manufacture the puzzle…?? A few people have commented that they didn’t receive their in a paper bag so that is definitely new. The piece quality was a bit on the thinner side but I didn’t have any issues. I need to catch up on your latest video. The one thing I’ve noticed is that I have a lot less time to watch other CZcams videos now that I’m creating my own and always busy puzzling. 💜🧩
I got this puzzle for my birthday last summer…when we put it together couple months later it was missing one piece! I was so sad! 😢

@@fortheloveofpuzzles it was. I asked the friend who got it for me and she got it from Amazon…was already outside the 30 day window 😢. I put it in a puzzle swap cart at my library with a note on it that it was missing one piece. Someone nabbed it right afterwards saying her kid wouldn’t care 😂. I’m glad it’s getting another life!
I got the LEGO Minifigure one for Christmas…hopefully it doesn’t happen again!
Bummer indeed... I would want to do the others ones but probably skip the Minifigure Head one - that just looks so difficult. I think I'd be dreaming in yellow for weeks afterwards. Have fun with the Minifigure one - fingers crossed no missing pieces. 💜🧩
