Regarding the AMD clockspeed discussion, theres always silicon lottery involved, especially with the tiny ass process node AMD uses.
Whats fun to know is that AMD Boost is smart, boosting as long as possible within thermal limits, while Intel chips boost for a set amount of time and then not boost anymore, regardless of thermals
