Thanks for this interview! Just met today. DL is one of my inspirations, with a vast discography full of beautiful hip hop from the soul. From his closeness with Seba Jun to being one of the geniuses of the European scene. I love his discipline and passion. Peace from Argentina :)
This guy has been dropping multiple gems per year since the 1990's and HAS NOT SLOWED DOWN. People throw around the word 'underrated' a lot, but here is someone it truly applies to. Thank you for the interview Out Da Box, and thanks for the years of music DL!

@@Indyvid1 thanks for the post. And great interview btw. Have you heard DL’s brand new album “I am Reuben”? It’s been out for about 2 weeks and folks are going nuts for it. Some are already calling it the album of the year. All of Funky DL’s work is fire but this album has a particular sentimental significance. You’ve gotta check this one out!!!!!!!!!!!

always respected the work ethic and very high quality production since the 90's and it's good to see he's had a solid career. It's just a shame about the accent he raps in, he could've been such an icon in the uk if he sounded more 'london'. But he definitely has carved his own lane and done it his way, so big up

He is a UK icon lol as well as a Japanese superstar.
