Looks like Japanese people have to wait in lines all the time. Everything I have seen so far, there is always a line. I don't mean to be offensive, but want to know the reason for that.

Japan has a population of over 120 million in a very small land mass, so there's only so much space for things and especially for popular or highly rated food outlets or stalls, there's always a case where there's more demand than supply. Hence the often long wait lines.
