The first time I heard this song I was sharing earphones with my brother on a plane flying away from home. The sun was setting over the clouds through the windows across the aisle casting a red glow on our faces, but my heart was blue after I had to say a forever goodbye to the dog who had been my companion for the last sixteen years. This song was a soundtrack to that moment and will always hold a sweet spot in my heart, bringing me some peace when those who used to be closest to me can't.
