- I am very excited to share a new video with Antares.
Both of us really had to learn that we could work together and trust each other. It has been a very special road already and I am so grateful for all that he is giving me..
The Spanish walked just clicked, we just had a few rides on neck rope and we both get so happy doing this together. That is what it is about for me!
I hope you enjoy watching the video and soon I will also upload a video for both Andorra and Macho.
Please note: The whip is to extend my arm and to make clear what I mean. I absolutely do not hurt him with it. The ears back are because he is quite dominant, but this isn't angry. It is the same as when you see horses in the field running together.

Honestly she/he is right we need WAY more people like this in the world to many people abuse there animals I mean look up horse abuse any thing in that category and so many videos of horse abuse and it’s not just horse abuse it’s dog, farm animals, cats, birds, ect! I mean look up the “the big lick” it’s horrible so they 100% have a point they also didn’t say everyone abuses there animals they meant we need more people like him that treat our animals with respect and we only want the best for them do your research

There's nothing more beautiful than watching the bond between a person and their special horse. I really appreciate your videos,because I had that same special bond with my first horse. I got him when he was 4 and He lived to be 29 years old. Unfortunately, I don't have a horse now and it hurts my heart and somehow I hope that I will be able to have another.I enjoy everything you do, because it reminds me of all the special time I had with my special horse. I had 13 at one time and it was the best time of my life. I competed and even had a small farm for about 10 years and got to raise a few babies!! Watching you, Matt, and Eva has helped me so much over the past couple of months. Thank you... you're an amazing young man with a gift of the true love and passion that I have in my heart also! Keep up the good work!!!

All of their horses are so well behaved and they love them very much. They treat them with kindness and understanding. And the horses will do anything to please them. 😊

I always think it is particularly elegant to see someone ride bareback...I guess it comes from my own background in the States. Watching on film, Native Americans and Mexicans on bareback...plus, as written in novels.

I grew up riding bareback as a kid in Texas because they didn't want me to get my feet stuck in a stirrup and get dragged to death. It's easier to just fall off. It's safer for kids.
My parents bought me a horse, but no saddle. I tore up the hills bareback as a kid and when I later learned dressage, was told a have a nice deep seat because of it.
Richard Benitez Personally, I think it's because of the connection and trust that horse and rider has with each other while riding bareback. It also feels so natural and... amazing??? :)
As great as it looks a saddle and stirrups not only help the rider but makes it much easier for a horse to carry the weight of a person.
Not judging cuz everybody who rides horses does the same but I shake my head when it gets romanticized in the way that you're suggesting

The connection between Jesse and Antares is absolutely astonishing and beautiful. They have such a bond that no other horse and rider have. Jesse, if you never do anything else in your life, the love you have developed with Antares is worth everything! I have great admiration for you (and Matt too). Your horsemanship is sensible, thoughtful and humane, but most of all, it's *effective*! It's just not possible to force a half-ton animal to do these things against its will.
