Another thing that is very important is a GUN BELT (made for carrying) they are way thicker and stiffer than a normal belt. They stay in place when holstering/drawing.
Good points, and accurate. There is another option, lower the gun. We are only talking about a half inch. I lowered my holster, and it sits fine, and I can still get the right purchase on the grip for easy fast draw.
It's not an issue for me since i don't have a shit holster.
Facts. If you’re not going to cheap out on a gun dont cheap out on a holster smh.
Never had this problem
The really nice thing is living somewhere where it doesn't matter if you print. In the summer I carry a G19 with optics and extended mag in shorts and a T-shirt. No one says anything and haven't in 20 years of carrying (in Kentucky). Its not *obvious* so I'm not worried about "bad guys" scoping me out ahead of time, but its not deep concealment because even if someone does notice it in the store, etc, it doesn't matter legally, and no one in the state gives a s**t anyway (1 out of 10 of them have a permit, and probably another 5-10% carry without a permit now). So honestly, in a store of 100 people probably 10-15 of us are carrying lol.
Its why we are all so polite and have low crime rates.
And that’s how the rest of America should be. But these liberals think taking our guns is gonna help with that🤣🤦🏽♂️
The criminal that you need to worry about sees your print and would plan his attack accordingly. This is why you should avoid printing in public whenever possible
Better For NO ONE To Know You’re Carrying.
That’s The Whole Point For NOT Printing.
Criminals See You’re Carrying, You’re A Walking Target.
It’s Why I Can’t Stand Open Carry.
You Think Open Carry Wards Off Criminals, It’s The Equivalent To Racking Your Shotgun, Thinking The Sound Would Ward Off Criminals.
People Are BOLD Nowadays, And Are Fearless To Boot.
Don’t Give Anyone, Reason To Run Up On You.
@@Smh1054so what kind of criminal are we talking about here? A Sherlock Holmes John wick cross? Criminals don't take the time to see if they can spot a print and even if they did it'd probably convince them to go commit the crime somewhere else. You gotta remember that most criminals are uneducated drug addicts that strike when an opportunity rises with little to no planning. Criminals like easy, unarmed victims not armed citizens that are just as lethal as they are. Their scared of a lawfully armed citizen. Believe me.
😂 I wouldn't listen to any person in Kentucky (I live in this crap Commonwealth) that says people are carrying "with a permit" ... This hasn't been required since 2019.
🤔 Polite you say? I guess you don't get to Louisville often?
That place is a 💩 show with shootings and crime and very few here(the whole Commonwealth not just Louisville) are polite..
No mam that’s not my Glock printing.
you can always put a compensator on a g43x and use a g48 holster. But honestly just get a g48
Isn’t your latest carry a p365 though?
Just put a T1C wedge it's like 3 bucks.
I solved that potential printing problem by strong side OWB carry. Currently using the Galco FLETCH holster. With a thumb snap for gun security. Appendix carry is just not for me.
Galco holsters are sewn together in a way that pulls the gun/holster unit into the body. The stitching is off center, more towards the side towards the body. Plus leather holsters are far more comfortable than polymer holsters.
I have a belly holster for my Glock 43X so far, no problems. I just don't want the velcro to come undone.
Yup, with AIWB carry and a full size gun, problem eliminated:) The Phlster pro holster along with the enigma, compacts and subcompacts are obsolete for me.
Wedges work
That's why you carry shorter barrels lower in the waistband to avoid that problem and you get better concealment. If I carried a g19 as low in the waistband as a g26 the barrel would jab me everytime I squat or anything.
You don't want to bury the grip into the waistband or the draw really suffers. Some micros are all grip and very little barrel so you need a longer holster to give the rig a keel without having to bury the grip.
you can carry a 43x without tipping if you get a iwb holster that you can adjust to sit lower in your waistband. Also, Locksmith is right, a good belt, like a Kore will help tremendously . The other, I suggest, don't carry appendix. strong side will tip much less, especially at the 5 o'clok position.
The problem is youre lowering the holster into your belt line making it harder to get a master grip when drawing vs just having an extra inch on the end of the holster.
@@dillonpatterson4310 we'll just agree to disagree. I've been carrying for 20 years the same way
I solved the issue by installing a "M19 slide on my 26. Adapter part was purchased @ Lone Wolf Barrels.
I love when my women have common sense!
BS
Buy a holster for a 19 and a 48 problem solved
Ugh. It’s a tricky situation. Short barrel and the grip sticks out…longer barrel and it digs into you like crazy😤
