    Beautiful video. I live in the south of Sardinia, even in my city there is a time trial. It is called the Iglesias - Sant'Angelo.

    Yes! Beautiful cornering. The first guy did great. Tight entrance smooth exit and swung out into the next curve. Nice!

    Great video. Thanks for posting. I try to get to every meet at Prescott but probably won’t be able to get to any this year. This has helped greatly.

      Sorry this is all we have. The cameraman was only filming briefly on Saturday.

    I always thought cheddar gorge would be a good hillclimb location.

      I've only been there once. I'd definitely prefer to drive it than ride a bike up there!

    Hopefully more content like this planned? Would be great to see a season review done in this format, with reviews etc. A bit like Special Stage/Brayspeed. I for one would buy the season review and I’m sure others would too!

      Not quite! At least it made it to the finish, which was looking in doubt for a moment there.

    Great great fun.
    Anybody care to tell me how easy it is to get involved?
    License, can you use your road car.....classes, etc etc.
    I'm trying to convince my partner to do it with me with our R53 mini( she's not convinced)

      barc.blob.core.windows.net/harewood/links/getting%20started%20checklist%202017.pdf
      Couple of links above but do check they are still completely upto date.
      If you live near one of the tracks/venues, suggest you go along and talk to some of the drivers in the paddock. They're usually more than willing to help/advise and the paddock area is usually open to spectators with no extra charge and the drivers are easy to find and friendly. Road cars don't need many alterations. Always check your tyres are eligible though as I believe there is a list of what road tyres can be used or not. Enjoy :)

    Very nice, though I have to say that the Swiss really know how to stage a proper hill climb.

    • @alfamonk
      @alfamonk Před 5 lety +2

      yeah they have some good ones, different skill set here though.

    • @zTheBigFishz
      @zTheBigFishz Před 5 lety +1

      @@alfamonk Yup. The Swiss events are setup like a high speed circuit event. Is likely the reason they appear to be so spectacular on CZcams

  • @judymclaurin3989

    The guy in the blue car is smart. He's preserving his tires by taking corners the right way. Too wide puts unnecessary friction on the tires and causes spin outs. The other guys are focused on their track times and rushing their cornering. That's dangerous. If u spin out the track time doesn't matter bro.

  • @BUILDSforDRIVING
    @BUILDSforDRIVING Před 5 lety

    The front wheel drive guys need thinner tyres on the back...it swings around better and stops it from going on 3 wheels

    • @NEKROSE_
      @NEKROSE_ Před 5 lety

      Fully intended to go on three wheels for better agility and rotation.

    The best sport ever, apart from dogging.
