I am confused between edp and elixir. Which one i should buy ?

Parfum is the best of the three main ones. Elixir is fantastic but is a completely different beast.
Elixir is a masterpiece but Parfum is so amazing. Maybe its not so strong but is so sexy, great date night fragrance for sure. EDP is also nice
parfum version is my favorite. I just love that spicy note.

Are these better then thr Bleu De Chanel Parfum? Im NOT feeling the Bleu De Chanel Parfum after several days of use. Smells like baby/talcom powder
I can't disagree on the top list, however the Parfum shines more on those really cold winter days, while the EDP shines more on Spring and Autumn and EDT on Spring, Summer (definitely here) and Autumn. But the Elixir, does its magic on Spring, Winter and Autumn (but on those days that are actually cold; specially at night); a lot of people say that the Elixir is exclusively for those fancy special occasions; but personally I also like to wear it when I just want to relax at home, and express creativity when trying to come up with a guitar riff.
I agree with Elixer in the #1 spot; but Parfum takes #2 spot for me

Im surprised you say that, maybe you only smelled the opening? The thing about elixir it only gets better with time. The opening wouldn't impress you much
@MedamineSlasla-su6mv sprayed 2 sprays on at Dillard's not only was it overwhelming. I walked by 2 girls and they said wow that guys cologne smelled really bad. So I know it projects but that's all I can say
@scottyB316 Manybe that's the problem you. They were girls, not women, or maybe two sprays is too much and the smell was overpowering. Also how can you say you hate something just because two people didn't like it.😂

@ashtoncomer935 honestly I sprayed it on my hand at Dillard's walked around kept smelling said man this so hyped but it doesn't smell that great. Kept walking around didn't get better. I said ok maybe I need it on the neck. Sprayed 2 sprays. It projects. Beast. Walked by 2 ladies they said wow his cologne smelled really bad. Idk if it was to in their face or what. It just wasn't that good
@@scottyB316 You're right actually. The only people who like the Elixir are men, women are repulsed by it. If you want a sauvage go for the edp or the parfum

I love the EDP and Elixer the best
I own edt, parfum and Elixer.. The parfum version is so strong too. Never spray too closed to you nose. Many people say the projection is weak but I say it's strong. The edt version is just perfect for me strong enough and smell so good. And for the elixer I have no words to say 10 out of 10 it's a beast.
I'm eager to try edp version too one day.
Parfum is the best tbh
True the most underrated yet so powerful. People complain about the projection but the one I have has a good projection.
Elixir is the bomb but can be a bit more of a seasoned noses taste imo the EDP strikes the best balance if a noob to fragrances and if you love that one then elixir is a natural progression

There have only been 3 fragrances that really made me lose my sh*t
1-Dior sauvage elixir
2- YSL T eau de parfum
3- Tom ford ombré leather
All masterpieces and quite unique

I bought EDP yesterday and love it… I wanted the elixir but was not ready to pay the price just yet… edp is the perfect conpromisse if you love the elixir but want to start cheaper
Parfum is so underrated man, i have the parfum and the edt. I honestly can’t stand the edt its just too citrusy. Man the parfum is just something else.

The parfum in my opinion is the best
They have had so many variations with the 2020 batches. I am scared to buy the EDT. Recently wasted 170 dollars on a 200ml edt bottle. No one can smell it on me until i ask them to. It is not nose blindness as i tested it on at least 3 groups of people within 2 hours of putting it on.

Here in my country there’s a clone for dior sauv elixir, it smells very identical to the original and the performance also good, and it costs around $ 7 for 30 ml and it is extrait de perfume (!!)

EDP And Elixir that's my Sauvage line up I've had a 200ml EDP preserving now for over 2 yrs and just opened my 100ml $350 Elixir.
Elixir from sauvage is one of my most favorites from dior, glad i bought that fragrance for christmas, got some compliments from people when i wore it on my skin.
For me its Elixir> Parfum> EDP> EDT then cool spray at the very bottom
Bought the parfum because they didn’t have samples of the EDT or the EDP but the Parfum is powdery idk if I like it now
The elixir was strong as hell def a unique smell but the initial spray was too strong
So update the Parfum is growing on me I definitely use it as a layer cologne and a bed time cologne

I have the Parfum but honestly EDT is slightly better. People really rate the Elixir high and I really wanted to like it. But my nose is not really into it.

How long does the Sauvage edp and edt last compared to the Parfum? I’m new to fragrances and I’ve heard parfum is the longest lasting but most people say the edp or edt is better. I tested the scent and it is amazing I just want to get the one that lasts the longest
Edt is to typical but its nice. Edp is better but still a little too much ambroxin. Parfum hit it right on the nail only it doesn't perform very good but I dont care. Elixir is something unfamiliar, smells nothing like the others

Lataffa asad is 80% or more similar with elixir. Costs 25dollars. Tested them side by side myself and noticed slight differences. But you can't really tell. Ofc elixir is stronger, but also be careful with lataffa. 5 puffs in a classroom is all it takes to intoxicate😂. Ard al zaafaran i am the king is a very very accurate clone of edp sauvage. Really good clone.

A classic I love polo but it's about as boring and safe as you can go. I still rock it especially to like the gym it's the least offending sent ever smells like every shower gel 2008-2020

not a fan of the elixir nor the heavier ambroxan ratios found in edt and edp. the parfum is only Sauvage I've kept in rotation. pleasant citrus open with smoother/more relaxed vibe through dry down
