no, serves CuO (because is very reactive) and strong ammonia, but you can make TACS (copper sulfate plus ammonia at 30%)
Isnt it easier to simply dissolve Cu in HNO3 and after the NO2 gas stops, just adding NH3? This way, there will fall out great quantities of TACN.
