Quick test flights I've done, is a whole new sim somehow.

Can't say anything else than that yesterdays testflight was an extreme "holy fuuuuu....."-moment. The entire group of guys I flew with were *ahem* over the clouds with this update.
Same, I was blown away.
Makes me wish I could run vr at these settings. Still an excellent time in vr though
Yeah, there were a few guys in our group that struggled with VR until they went Ultra on the clouds.
Best part is that I actually had a really bad case of complete loss of spatial awareness when climbing up through the clouds. Took a look out towards one of the guys on my wing and couldn't figure out what was up or down for a few seconds.
Zoomclimbs up through the layers are so much fun now, too.

Deffo! Actually have to learn how to navigate now as well :D Luckily I mostly fly the Harrier, so that's at least somewhat easy, but should go back to the F-5 for some oldschool training :D

Do we get increased cloud distance in static weather also?
Do you mean view distance? Also the new clouds aren't dynamic yet, that tab in the weather menu still exists separate to the new clouds

I meant static cloud and weather distance. It seems in editor all clouds just disapper after 20nm your starting point some reason?
Ah I see. I flew a good hundred miles on Wednesday, there were clouds the whole way. So I'm not sure if that's not a setting you have set low or something?

If I member correctly view distance is least set high but I have to check other settings later today my current pc. Thanks for the advice!
